Yes, but there are BIG service gaps during the day and less service during rush hour than other lines!

Thanks for the info regarding certain areas I should avoid. Do you have any idea/insight regarding other communities/apt complexes I am looking at to find a place, such as:
1. Forest Pointe Apartments - Lake Bluff
2. Deer Valley - Lake Bluff
3. Clover Ridge - Palatine
4. The Landings at Amhurst Lake - Waukegan
5. Woodlake Apartments - Gurnee
6. The Lakes of Schaumburg - Schaumburg

I realize you may not have any info on the apt complexes themselves, but what about the communities I've listed? Thanks in advance.
Before I moved to Denver I lived in Schaumburg for pretty much my entire life. That would be a nightmare drive. In good conditions it will take you about 40 minutes. In bad weather it could easily take 1 1/2 hours or longer. I would look for a place in the downtown areas of Des Plaines, Mount Prospect, or Arlington Heights.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I visited this past weekend and found a place in Palatine which is only about 10 minutes from work. Again, thank you all for the assistance.
