I plan on moving to the area in Sept. from Philadelphia. I realize that in the Chicago area you need to contact a realtor for information. I just wanted to know from someone that lives in the area. What are some of the best apartments to move into in Homewood area? I heard it is a pretty good area. Any suggestions would be great.

Homewood doesn't have all that many rentals -- mostly condos. There are just a handful of apartments, though, west of downtown -- I forget the name, on 183rd St. Otherwise, look for ads, as there are some individual 4 or 6 unit buildings here and there.
