20/20 tonight had a story about Jeff Pelo, the Bloomington Police Sergeant convicted to 440 years for raping several women, in the Bloomington area.

I felt so saddened for his family, his wife so loyal to him and, in such a state of denial. This was the perfect father, husband, son, coached one of his children's sports team, with 17 years in the PD, who went from the rank of detective to sergeant, and had an almost fool-proof method, except his eyes, gait, and voice did him in.

This is going to create such a legal issue for Bloomington, regarding the legal cases he has been involved in his career, but at least they have put this Sociopath, where he belongs.

At last, women in Bloomington can feel vindicated, knowing that there is one less on the roads.................

I'm sorry. The sentence was too lenient. People like this should be methodically skinned and field-gutted alive and the carcas left for prey. He led two lives; sucker-punched his wife and destroyed his children. He deserves no mercy here or in the hereafter. And there is no telling how many other lives he destroyed while he enjoyed raping the countless other women who had the mistortune to be in his line of sight. It will take the BPD years to sort out the mess he left.
