I will be moving to the Crystal Lake area and will be starting up a chiropractic practice, specializing in pediatrics, beginning next January. My wife is from Crystal Lake so we would like to stay within 30 minutes of CL. I was planning on opening up in Lake in the Hills, but am beginning to see that it is a little too boring strip mall haven for us. Although it still may be good for my business. Does anyone know of a suburb within 30 minutes of Crystal Lake that is health conscious and a good place to live and raise a family? I also love the water so near the Fox River is a plus! Thank you.

You might look into Fox River Grove - they have some very family focused neighborhoods and I've heard good things about the schools too. There are a couple of parks along the river already and I believe they have plans to develop and feature the river for the town even more.

Please don't move here as there are too many Chiropractors in this state and everywhere for that matter. Get a real job!
