Just wondering how long the METRA ride from Union Station to the stop in Aurora is?

If that is all you need to know the metrarail site has detailed timetables:Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Schedule

The more detailed question might be "Are these numbers reliable?" and FOR THE MOST PART the BNSF has on-time performance that is tops for the system. The tremendous SPEED that they attain is mostly a good thing and they can get to Union Station ontime even running at less than peak speed, as the 55 minute trip of the express is ROUTINELY bested.

That said, do NOT build a work schedule that DEPENDS on the express trains as minor delays under 5 minutes) happen about every other month or so and the occasional major incident can throw you for a terrible curve, so that a polite phone call to your coworkers saying "stuck on train until they scrape up the jumper" should be expected every once in a while...

According to Google Maps, it's an hour and 22 minutes, but there are probably some express trains that do it faster at certain times of the day.
