I've had 2 major floods (over 3 feet) and some minor ones in the past 20 years! I finally bit the bullet last year and had the basement Perma-Sealed. Didn't get a drop and the dehumidifier didn't even kick on!

Did you use the company by the same name? I got some good feedback on them, then made the mistake of going to yelp, where the doomsayers were dominant (all 3 of 'em anyway) about how they bad they were.

Same company. The sales rep's name was Don, I think. Great guy and no pressure. They were so busy at the time that I had to wait 3 months for them to do the install. The install took 2 days. Had no problem last weekend with all the rain. I would have flooded for sure without the system. The only gripe I had was they didn't clean-up all the concrete dust that was leftover from the install.

Ours was not flood but did put in a Backup system about a months ago. Have a backup generator but worry what if no bodies were home.

Came across this on Sump Pump and Backup the other day. It's a audible alarm with a dial out feature pretty interesting.

Going to get me one of those next.
