Sometimes we can hit 70s, or 80. But often times, it is in the upper 40s or lower 50s, with a chilly wind. If you're near the lake..the lake keeps things warmer in the winter, but because it requires so much time to warm up (it does span way north into even colder climates), then an 70 or 80 degree day still can feel cold with those NE winds wipping off the 45 degree lake.

The average high temperature in April is 57.

The average high temperature the last week of April is 61 to 64.

There is no record low below 28 past April 13.

IMHO averages are useless in april. Can still be snow on the ground or people can be in shorts. April is still very nippy at night.

Plan for temps between 30-80F!! Basically a heavy jacket and maybe a hat should do.

This is not true for the end of April. It is very rare to get snow at the end of April and when it does, it melts in like one day.
