Bucktown's six corners sees burst of development | News | Crain's Chicago Business

Some of these plans sound interesting. It will be nice to see the bank and the Northwest Tower being used for something....

Edited to add: Interesting how they call the 6 corners Bucktown. I've always thought Bucktown begins at the Bloomingdale or Armitage.

not too happy about Walgreens, but whatever. Glad there is other retail in plan too.

Agreed on the Walgreens. Seems like a bad location for Bucktown (not Walgreens), otherwise new development is good!

This new Walgreens will be about 3 blocks from the Walgreens at Milwaukee & Wood.

I like the idea of the hotel in the Northwest Tower, and thanks to this article, I now know that building is indeed named Northwest Tower.

This is all great news.

But yeah, I agree. I think everyone agrees that Wicker Park. Silly Crain's.

Haha, I had no idea it was called that either.

I've always wondered what goes on in that building, it's very big.

The border is traditionally North Ave.

No, technically the traditional border for WP/B-Town is the tracks at Bloomingdale. But the generally accepted and quoted border is North Ave.

Even still, I've never heard six corners lumped in with anything other than WP. Their signage is all over.
