hello again all,

As you can tell from my other posts, I'm having a real hard time deciding where to live in Chicago (moving up in a few months) I have an opportunity for a great price in UK village, but I'm not sure if for me (as an early twenties person) this is the right area compared to LP/LV, even though I'm not someone who has to party every weekend. However there is a wildcard...

I need to have a car for work. Because I may need to work in the suburbs sometimes. Without thinking about parking just for simplicity sake, I want to ask you fine people about the commute. Would commuting to the suburbs be significantly better in UK village (Augusta and Damen) compared to the border of lakeview and Lincoln park? Idk if I'm overthinking the commuting thing but I wanna consider all potential advantages and disadvantages.

Thanks!

What suburb do you plan on commuting to? Ukie village is more accessible to the highway but if you're going to a north suburb I would say that the two areas don't have a huge difference.

Thanks, I've been told it may not be a major difference so I just wanted to confirm that. Location is basically unknown. Could be anywhere more or less. Which is why I'm trying not to put too much weight into it.
