Most things in the world dealing with corporations are a lot harder than people realize because of the big process around it all

Mod cut.

That said, being a large entity is NOT an excuse for huge beaurocracy. Just because it is large does not mean that it MUST therefore be slow and inefficient. There are plenty of large organizations that are able to get things done FAST. But there must be an incentive. In the private sector, profits are the incentive. You run a slow, inefficient company with poor customer service, you lose customers. The public sector can do whatever they want. We HAVE to pay our taxes, no matter what. We HAVE to go through the government that is currently set up - there is no "free market" of government. They hold all the power, we have none. If we don't like how slow they are, then TOO BAD for us.

Mod cut.

And yet you acted as if I meant just any government organization. There's a reason why I qualified my statement.

I think you're giving a lot of people too much credit. There's many people in the world who have no idea about how ridiculous some governments and some large organizations are with making movement on seemingly the smallest things. To someone who has personally worked in or with organizations like this, it's obvious. However, many people haven't and they think the processes around everything is simple.

^ Stop with the sarcastic attitude. There are many people around who see things more simply and don't understand how crazy stupid and slow things are internally with these types of places.

What other reasons would there be? An idiot accidentally deleted something on a computer? They ran out of paper?
