What the hell, I'll just add my two cents. But I really like being apart of Illinois (politics aside). I think the state has some really beautiful spots. I like the open prairies and farmland in the central region, the small, beautiful towns along the Mississippi, the rugged hills in the southern tip. Illinois is a little West, a little East, and it dips it's toe into the South.
