Ministry is Metal that is why metal radio stations have always played them and why non-metal stations avoid them like the plague

Are we really that lame? There is some talent in that list, but where are the equivalents of the Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Jimi, Janis, etc.?

If you consider Curtis Mayfield "rock" he is close to being one of the greats. Same with the blues crowd, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, etc.

Is John Prine "rock"? Steve Goodman?

Chicago's rock history isn't bad at all, but what perceived deficiencies it may have in comparison to NYC or London is more than made up for by its blues and house music history.
