Yeah, K-town is pretty rough... but the boyf and I actually biked through there the other day... We were doing a day trip to the Field Museum, it was about 2PM on a Sunday... Mind you, we're a couple of white Oak Park kids... It's not as horrendous as everyone claims... Just mind your own business and pass on through...

One awesome sighting in the Lawndale neighborhood is the "I Got 99 Problems 4 Shizzle" store-front church on Roosevelt & Austin. Funny stuff!

you are a couple of white kids from oak park, roosevelt and austin is not lawndale nor is it anywhere near it

Austin and Roosevelt are the city limits there, right? What's that area called if it's not Lawndale?

Yeah, my bad. I think it's actually Cicero over there. Anyhow, I know we did pass thru Lawndale... and it wasn't too horrible...

That is because most of the troublemakers were still sleeping or in church.

Try doing that on a Sunday Morning at 2am.
