You don't know what is wrong with this one, other than it looks like it was converted from a condo to something of a workspace that sounds a little funky. Look at trends in Chicago, prices are going up in the city and suburbs.

Chicago has one of the lowest home price appreciation rates in the country according to Case Schiller. Been at or near the bottom for almost a decade now. Looting of our downtown and large crime increases aren't helping. Plus huge tax increase coming soon. The next deacde may be worse.

Yes. I agree completely. The BLM'ing of the downtown and overall increase in crime doesn't help. Nor do the "progressive" ideas towards increasing the income tax. Property taxes are now as much as the mortgage payment.

bystanders sit in the pot like a frog as the temperature keeps going up.

These things have a definite affect on property values (or lack thereof)

The liberal chickens have come home to roost. Maybe Pelosi will get her state bailout. Illinois could use about $100B.

I agree, although BLM'ing is going on in downtowns of almost all major cities, and it can happen at any time. Portland had >100 days, Seattle had months of BLMing. Louisville, Rochester, Pittsburgh, LA have had recent BLMing. I was mad when it happened in Chicago, but overall, Chicago hasn't had it that bad compared to some others:

The hoodrats destroyed our downtown and many neighborhoods twice. It's not like they've destroyed Portland 100 times by now.

Yeah, I think in Portland, the chaos/destruction was limited to one section, and I don't think it was in the heart of downtown.

What's weird about Portland is it's the whitest large city in America. I never will defend looting, but woke whites looting is really weird.
