I would say the entire north shore is overrated. That and Naperville. That's about all I can think of for overrated ones.

Good morning, I DO like these lists because I like to hear people's likes and dislikes.... so thank you, Chicagoisthebest, to generate some discussion.
As BOBNCHI says, at the same time, it also educates me if people have to time to add a comment or two to support their answer.
As I've said, I DO like Naperville because they have a charming downtown, nice restaurants, but is a bit further for my drive since I prefer to do street and highway drives over the Interstates.
I like Lincolnwood because it appears very safe, clean and beautiful homes. For the most part it seems you have to drive elsewhere for the "living it up" type of restaurants, but that is A-OK with me.
And I mentioned Highwood. Closer to Milwaukee
And has great restaurants, diversity of delis, and an apparent close knit community.
