Crime under brandon so far has only gone up 38 percent. Not bad at all

Outside of Chicago, in Willowbrook, which isn't even that close to the city, 23 people shot at a Juneteenth party.

Apparently, they've had that party for several years in a row, even the cops would attend part of it. But "people not from the complex" showed up this time, it got bigger, and sure enough, 1 idiot has to ruin it. They've said they likely won't do the party anymore. Just a shame.

The 38% increase....guessing that's the normal summer/warmer weather increase, not because BJ took office. It would be better to compare June 2023 to June 2022. Maybe it's still an increase, who knows.

From a murder standpoint, June 2023 is down from June 2022 so far.

2018 = 53
2019 = 51
2020 = 97
2021 = 83
2022 = 67
2023 = 34 so far, on pace for 57

It's absurd to blame or credit Johnson for crime rates this early in his tenure. I don't think he's implemented any policies that would affect crime, positively or negatively , and even if he did, government bureaucracy works at a snails pace.
