Reasonable Hotels in the Chicago area (Skokie, Bolingbrook: 2013, price, suburbs)

Hello,

My wife and I are coming through Chicago next weekend. Looking for a reasonable place
to stay. Just need a place to lay our head down but looking for something clean, safe
and reasonable in price, like around $150 - $175 if possible. This could be a hotel outside of
Chicago on our way to Crown Point, Indiana.

Any suggestions to look into?

If ONLY you could go to The Diplomat, near Lincoln and Foster. I went there ONCE in about 2013.

Now, it's going to house,,,,,, immigrants, or something.

Crown Point is only an hour from Chicago, why pay for a hotel anywhere near there? Chicago and suburbs are huge. Hotels in the city are more expensive than in surrounding suburbs.

If you want to stay in the city Citizen M is a good option within your price range. It's between Millennium Park and the river on Michigan Ave.

Don't see a reason why or when you would stop near Chicago on your way to Crown Point. Once you get there could pick between Hampton Inn or a Choice hotel. don't know if you need a room for 2 or what.

Check out the Quality Inn - Bolingbrooke. It's a newer hotel, very clean, has free breakfast and free parking for $120 a night.

I'm sorry, maybe it went over my head, but where are you coming FROM?

I see you are going TO Indiana, however.

I usually stay at the Holiday Inn in Skokie or Holiday Inn Express in Niles.

But I choose THOSE hotels because I am trying to hang out IN CHICAGO.

As I said, I don't know where you're coming from, but if you are coming from north or northwest of Chicago, that area is a good place to turn in for the night.
