From what I understand, the Wrigley Building had an observation deck open the public from when the building first opened in 1921 until about 1956, shortly after a higher observation deck at the Prudential Building opened and took away much of the business. I found that tickets to the observation deck were 5 cents in 1921 and 22 cents in 1947 and a ticket during the observation deck's entire existence came with a pack of Wrigley chewing gum. I also found that hours of operation were 9 am to 5 pm every day, though the deck was closed on Sundays during the winter months. I have not been able to find the hours of operation for the Wrigley Building observation deck in the early 1920's though. Also, I have not been able to find information on exactly what year the deck closed to the public for good or any pictures of the observation deck and the view from there during the years it was open to the public. So, does anyone here know exactly what year the Wrigley Building observation deck closed to the public, what the hours of operation during the early 1920's were, or have any pictures of the observation deck and the view from there during the years the observation deck was open for public access.

Not sure on an observation deck. Here's a short on the tower with why the building was connected.

This is better. There was an observation deck, and each visitor got a piece of chewing gum.

There also used to be a club restaurant in the building that was good, but members only.
