Whenever I travel anywhere outside of Chicago there are always some crappy restraunts featuring "Chicago Style Dogs". But really they taste disgusting, nothing like you would really find in Chicago. I even told the lady at a place in Manchester, NH one that this is not as good as anything that you would find in Chicago. I don't get it, how did this trend travel so far but get so screwed up.

Why were you eating hot dogs in Manchester? Whenever I go there, I'm eating lobster rolls and all manner of fresh seafood

Well, no matter how well a restaurant might advertise something are you really going to find great bbq in Oregon compared to Texas? Are you really going to find great pizza in Kentucky compared to New York? Are you really going to find great mexican food in Tennessee compared to California?

Of course not, that's just how it is. You will always see restaurants somewhere saying at least some of their items are a certain style, even if they truly aren't.

Who does that? It doesen't make any sense. I would have kindly asked for another without ranch dressing.
