We're looking for an area either in the city or in the close suburbs that's not to far from the highway & ideally a quaint, safe area that still has some restaurants & bars around. Now in late 20's, Lincoln Park & Lakeview are to busy & young to work for us anymore.

Lincoln Square is not that close to 94 or 90. It is not on the Northwest side either.

North Park is technically on the Northwest side and does have way better access to 94 than Lincoln Square.

It does have a lot.

In fact I used to live in Budlong Woods. I have a long family history in Lincoln Square and Budlong Woods. The thing is they are not really close to 94 and certainly not to 90.

Maybe the OP works in the burbs...

U should look at the Portage park or Jefferson park hoods, they're both white (Irsh,Polish,Hispanic) working class hoods which means they got a good amount of restaurants and bars, and they are pretty safe. and close to the highways

Default wth?

What is Plamer square?

Palmer square is within .3 miles of Milwuakee and a great neighborhood, thus I say North West Side. What criteria are you using?
