hey guys..

I'm an outsider to chicago and I'm looking to purchase a few tickets to a cubs game through a broker...

I have never been to wrigley, but I'm thinking the upperdeck might be a good way to take in a lot of action from high above while enjoying everything the park has to offer. Is there anything to look out for? Specifically, do i need to look out for obstructed views?

does anyone here have a preference between outfield uppder deck and the infield upper deck?

I heard the bleachers were fun too... but I'm not sure i want to deal with the potential debauchery.

Thanks!

This web page gives a good breakdown of the ups and downs of each section.

Shop around for tickets. Don't let a broker scalp you. A ticket broker is simply a scalper with a phoney baloney license to raise ticket prices as high as they can. They're not different than the kids from the hood scalping tickets.
Best thing to do is hang out by the L station at Addison and wait for people to get off the train and ask for extra tickets. You'll get a really good deal and won't be getting taken to the cleaners.
Best seats are in the 400 level.

This site is good too.
You can type in your seat info and it will show you a picture of the approximate view of the field.

Default If you want an opinion...

Just my personal opinion - the upper deck is fine. The bleachers, to be honest, are overrated. I'll have a beer or two at the game, but I also really like to watch the game, and I'm sorry, I'm a Cubs fan, but the bleachers are not the place to go if you want to get a score card and watch the game. Every time I have bought tickets, they say "Obstructed View" if they're behind a beam or something, because some seats are actually placed right behind a beam. Ha. It might be difficult to buy Cubs tickets right online because Feb. 20th, when they go on sale, they fly! I suggest Stub Hub, which is a great site for seat purchasing.
