Hahahaha. When everyone with top 25 education is nodding and you are freaking out you have to stop sometimes and wonder if it might be YOU that is missing something...

I know Chicago has been trying hard to improve its checkered political image, so I know it's frustrating for you people.

Really? The Democrats want to spread power? To whom? Republicans? I think you mean Democrats want to spread money around as in buying as many votes as possible and keeping as many suckers dependent as possible. This will lock in generations of dependable supporters.

See, Democrats' worst fear is that people will build themselves and prosper on their own. Why? Then, they would see they don't need to sell their souls to the Democrat plantation owners for their breadcrumbs and chump change. They could go out and build real careers and make real lives.

I think a lot of people dont realize what they have asked for.
Ugh you are such a typical Houston lady. So pretty, and (sigh) so Republican.

Also, why is everyone jumping on Myssa for commenting on an Illinois topic? Remember, some of us are Chicago natives that moved to Houston. Perhaps she's in the same boat.

I think a discussion is healthy on this subject, but this thread needs to be in the politics section.

PLEASE EVERYONE STOP COMMENTING ON THIS until it is moved.

aw thank you for the compliment. I take both the pretty and so Republican comment as a compliment so thank you.
I am actually stationed in ***port right Lousiana, one of the most racist states ever and it sucks bad. I love Texas and I love Houston but our next stop is Chicago. I am happy about the move and experiencing new things.
I did not vote for the Celebrity Obama but now that he is my president I cant say that I want to see him fail because I dont. I just hope he doesnt screw things up, but of course he probably will. His inauguration was bitter sweet for me. I was cringing at the idea of him being elected and inaugurated but at the same time it was such a great and proud moment for our country. Anywaaaays yeah I dont even like the taste of Kool-aid it is nasty. Change is good- we (republicans) needed this. This is good for us because we will be stronger next time.

It's a shame you don't even listen to your own Milton Friedman, considered by most to be the 20th century's greatest economist who declared that FDR's massive spending spree in the face of a downturn turned what should have been a garden-variety recession into a decade-long depression. The cornerstone for Friedman's philosophy was always the smallest tax burden for those who invest capital.

Does it sound "Top 25" to eschew a remedy that has always worked in favor of a action which has never worked?

No, just don't comment at all. This guy is a troll and we can stop it now rather than fuel it.
