I thought I heard on WGN news this AM that there were 63 shootings over the 3 day weekend? Wow, that's absolutely incredible. Assuming 99% of these took place on the south and west sides (sprinkle in a couple in Rogers Park)...what's wrong with these people!

After seeing how wonderful CPD handles things like they did at the taste on the 3rd, I'm surprised there weren't 633 shootings over the weekend.

Simple explanation...during the 4th, people pull out guns to fire...odds are far more likely, if those guns are lying around, or being shot in the air, that they will be used to kill people/blow heads off/etc...especially in the ghetto cribs of the city......
