I am a Sept school psychology grad and planning to relocate to Chicago. Can anyone tell what the job market is for school psychologists?

I think you will be ok once hiring season starts after the new year. At this point, only "leftover" positions remain. Check each district's HR website and see open positions....School Psych fairs pretty well since it is such a specialized degree (not every career changing person goes in this direction, as opposed to getting a teaching certificate). Better off in the burbs, frankly. Good luck!

If you are totally flexible in terms of working in the city or any of the suburban school districts you will have a better chance.

Good luck.
