Anybody live around there? Besides no parking any issues? What do you like? What dont ya like?

Iam thinking of moving to a small one bedroom studio around there.....

These are three distinctly different parts of the central area, with markedly different "feels" even though they are all within about a 30-minute walk of each other.

And, a "one bedroom" and a "studio" are two different styles of apartment with, especially downtown, significantly different price points.

Of the four, State and Madison is really not residential, it's almost 100% commercial. If you like that, it has the benefit of being at the nexus of a large number of Chicago transit options, making it relatively easy to get to or from.

Dearborn and Polk is probably the quietest of the four - though none of them are really "quiet" by any real measure, so perhaps I should say "least busy" or "least noisy."

Right at Chicago/Lasalle, there isn't so much, but it's close to a lot of things. Close to the parts of River North that are more active, close to the parts of River North with galleries, close to North Michigan Avenue, and it has pretty good transportation options, especially if you're planning to mainly travel to the North Side and the Loop.
