I think I would rather have the Bears sticky back.

Bears so far.................."meet the new boss: same as the old boss........"
or maybe some Aerosmith instead of the Who: "same old song and dance, my friends"

Aah, nevermind.

Honestly this is a better sticky, since ALL sports teams in Chicago can be talked about, and multiple conversations about different teams can & do happen.

As far as the Bears go, there really is nothing to say about them, and they've really done nothing in the preseason to warrant a stickied thread.

Well, to the 3 other White Sox fans here what do you think of acquiring Manny Ramirez? Will he help or be a big bust?

Not a Manny fan. He has always seemed like a selfish showboater and lazy fielder. He represents the 'roid era to me.

Good numbers notwithstanding, I'm not at all excited about him. To quote Hawk, "Don't tell me what you hit, tell me when you hit it."

If he comes through big in clutch situations, I'll be happy to eat my words, but I still think good pitching beats good hitting.

Manny Ramirez is a great baseball player, but has one of the worst attitudes. If I was a Sox fan I wouldn't be overly excited at all about this move.

Yeah, he's already acting goofy. He held a press conference, insisted on speaking Spanish, and made Joey Cora interpret despite the fact that he can speak perfectly good English. I think it's a stunt to see how much he can get away with. Well, if he's a problem, he'll be gone after a month, I believe.
