Heading west on 95th. Made a left from 95th street, onto that portion of Stony Island that goes to Bishop Ford X-way. The arrow went from green to red, (no yellow), as I entered the intersection. If you have any experience with that corner, should I expect a ticket, in the mail?

(Stony Island is "littered", with red light cameras, from 67th to 95th street.)

If you didn't see a flash, you needn't expect a ticket.

From what I understand it does not enforce left turns. So you should be ok. And as Drover said, no flash, no ticket.

Every traffic signal has a yellow warning signal before the red.

If you get a photo ticket, tell them you were in a funeral cortege or were moving out the way for an emergency vehicle.

"The arrow went from green to red, (no yellow)....." I stand by my statement. And, you can't account for the behavior of thousands of traffic signals, in Chicago and Illinois.

Anyway, thanks to all, for the replies.

I used that view to successfully challenge a red light ticket. From where he sat in the same intersection, the cop could only tell that his light was green; not that mine was red. The judge thought about it for a while and then found me not guilty.
