Where's the best place to park on a weekday near the Millenium Knickerbocker Hotel at 163 East Walton Place? (Michigan & Walton)
The hotel website says its valet parking is $50 -- whew! By the way, I'm just meeting someone, not staying there myself.
I've done a web search and have found only bad reviews, or no reviews, of nearby public parking structures. I'm willing to walk several blocks if someone recommends a good place that's not a ripoff and won't scratch my SUV.
Please reply soon. I'm going there first thing Monday.

Check out the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Self Park garage. About a 10 minute walk (5 blocks) but very safe area in my opinion. I remember their rates are fairly reasonable for the area (check the website or call them for info.).
