...you know...I remember a time past, when I could wake to a new day and feel like things "around me" (generally... in my part of the world anyway), were basically alright...I guess...not forgeting for one second the senseless suffering happening all around the world...
...but today...like yesterday...and the day before...and the day before that...and the day before that...and the day before...and the day...and the....and...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...
Pensacola Beach, Florida has been "CLOSED!"......it's paralizing...it's down right scary...the "powers-that-be" now want to label this disaster in the Gulf, a "natural disaster"...already trying to divert and pass blame to someone or something else other than where the blame plainly lies...and that is squarely upon the shoulder's of: 1. BP...and 2....(but just as much!!! on the shoulders of) barry aka barack!!!...for not lifting the "Jones Act" that would have allowed 1000's of ships to come from 13 other countries (who have been begging him to allow them in since the 3rd day of the spill!!!), to allow them in to help take care of the oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico, and using their expertise to close the hole in the earth as well...but barry won't do it...WHY?...WHY DAMMIT?.....shocking...it IS a man-made disaster people...and as if THIS isn't bad enough...barry has sent $2,000,000,000.00..as in "B"illion dollars to Brazil...(ever heard of George Soros?...Brazialian Oil kingpinner?...who also works for, yep, you got it, barry)...to support THEIR drilling of even deeper water oil wells than that of our "Deepwater Horizon" oil well which blew all to hell causing this disaster...BUT yet barry wants to keep a moritorium (stopping the drilling of ALL the wells) on our deep water wells because he says that drilling this deep is just too "scary"...yet he supports Brazil's even deeper well drilling by sending Soros $2,000,000,000.00 to support their drilling...but he puts a moritorium on ours which aren't even as deep...DOES ANYONE SEE THE PROBLEM WE HAVE HERE???!!!!!??...
...AND WE LEARN JUST THIS MORNING, THAT THE JUDGE WHO LIFTED THE MORITORIUM BARRY PUT INTO EFFECT UPON THE WELLS, HAS HAD DEATH THREATS UPON HIS LIFE!!! IF HE DOESN'T "MOVE" OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!...AGAIN...DOES ANYONE SEE THE PROBLEM WE HAVE HERE??!!!!!??...
...if these oil wells are stopped from drilling...they will all be sold to the highest bidder....Brazil...China...and will be moved lock, stock, and barrel, to another, deeper ocean to support another country...and they will never return...We the taxpayers! bought these oil rigs!...with our money!...millions upon millions upon millions of our dollars bought these, and built these rigs!...just to give them away??!!!??...forever?...we don't have our own independent energy source coming to us...? WHY? WHY?...I'll tell you why...and listen closely...to bring us to our knees and beg big govenment to come in and rescue us...to feed us...to "take care of us!"...know what that's called...?...huh...?..IT'S CALLED SOCIALIAM!!!...IT'S CALLED COMMUNISM!!!...IT'S CALLED MARXISM!!!...IT"S EVERYTHING BUT AMERICAN!!!!!!!
...people...you better wake up, and I mean it...you better get your heads out of the sand...this is real...and it isn't going away either...no matter how much you try to go on about your "lives-as-usual"...because it isn't "life-as-usual" anymore...the stakes in this war have WAY CHANGED!!!!!!!!...what is occuring as you go on about your life...as you sleep...as you choose to not think of anything but your own little atmosphere around you...think about this...

Subject has nothing to do with gods, nothing to do with religion, and empty prayers won't do anything to help. Want to help? Get you rear out there and start cleaning up. Vote out the people that caused this.

I agree with OBW! If god is there he is not going to magically clean up the oil. People need to do it. I am not for socialism, or communism but now capitalism is not looking so hot either.

Gah - toxic oil spill rain - that is brutal. I wish there was something we could do. I'm fairly isolated from it (up here in Canada). We don't even get much media coverage of it - although this seems to have the potential of harming the entire planet.
In the other thread that was posted a couple weeks ago - the video in that thread was talking about how the oil was the least of the problems. There is actually many other toxins that come up with the oil - toxins that cause huge problems for humans - especially the elderly and young children. There was talk that the gulf coast may need to be evacuated at some point. Have you heard signs of that Verna?

The Jones Act had nothing to do with us not purchasing the skimmers. The countries did not offer to help us, they offered to SELL their equipment to us at a very high price, and many were actually purchased from Holland. They are state of art skimmers, but the rest was nothing that US did not already have, so why should US spend the money to buy things from foreigners when the same equipment is available in US. I am tired of people playing political football with a national crises like this. No, Verna, I did not vote for Obama.
PS the money to Brazil is a LOAN, not a gift. They will pay back with interest.
