End Time Bible Prophecy, Rapture of His Bride.

Notice: 1 John 3:2 Shares We the sons of God, He shall appear, We shall see him as he is.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are (we the sons of God) and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that, when (he shall appear) we shall be like him, for (we shall see him as he is)

-------------------------------------------------------------------
(Watch ye) therefore,

Bride of Christ

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee (from) the (hour (Greek, hora- season) of (temptation (Greek, peirasmos- adversity or tribulation) which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

The prerequisite to receiving the promise in this scripture is to patiently keep His Word or put another way, to be a consistent doer of the Word, full of faith!

There are many wonderful benefits to being the Bride, but the one that is mentioned in the scripture Revelation 3:10 certainly will be a welcome blessing.

The word (From) in Greek is as "out of" (Greek word, ek) Strong's Number: 1537 out of, away from.

Strong's Number: 1537 out of, away from

Saved Now, and From(out of) The Tribulation.

2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and (keep you (from) evil. AMEN.

Psalm 121:7-8
The LORD shall preserve (thee (from) all) evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.AMEN.

2 Timothy 4:18
And (the Lord shall deliver me (from) every) evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. AMEN.

Jesus Christ promises to keep us "from" or as the Greek word reads, "out of" the season of tribulation that is about to come upon the whole world to try all those that are left behind to dwell upon the earth.
----------------------------------------------------------
(Watch ye) therefore,

worthy to (escape) all these things that shall come to pass,

(escape)as Rapture

Luke 21:34-36
(And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares)

35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

(36Watch ye) therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to (escape) all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

(Escape) Genesis 19:22, Psalm 71:2 (The snare is broken, Escaped Psalm 124:7-8)

king Jesus Christ, Warned in this prophecy, Take heed to yourselves, lest at anytime your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (overindulgence)and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, so that day come upon you unawares.(Watch ye) therefore, and (pray always) that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things .

(Luke 21:34-36) Here, in praying always, it is the Christians that are instructed to be sober, and not to be overtaken with overindulgence, and the cares of this life, not just the unbeliever (1 Thessalonians 5:6-8) First, note that unbelievers do not believe.

Secondly, unbelievers do not pray, and Worship God! nor will they pray always, and Watch which is an explicit Christian directive for saved Christians to be Watching in preparation for King Jesus Christ! Lest That Day overtake them unawares.

We must continue to share, and teach the Powerful Gospel with anyone, and everyone at all Times!

One must remember to Pray the Christian, Back sliders, Lukewarm (Revelation 3:16) and the unbelievers need to Repent (Acts 3:19) Wake up (Romans 13:11-14) Abide in Him (1 John 2:28-29) and Obey (Hebrews 5:9)

Also we must continue to share, and teach that the Christians need to be Wise, As shared in (Proverbs 21:20) and Wake up (Romans 13:11-14) Watch for Jesus Christ (Proverbs 8:34, Luke 12:37, Revelation 3:3) and Abide (1 John 2:28-29)

One must walk with God at all Times! Abide, Dabaq(Hebrew)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The Pre-Tribulation Rapture is the grand event for the espoused bride of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Kind Regards,
Hello Isaiah 54:17--Who are the "we" of many of the verses you cited?

Let's consider Matthew 24. Jesus is speaking directly to His first-century disciples. WE are not the YE! His disciples right there with Him were not to be deceived (verse 4); they were to hear of wars and rumors of war but they were not to be troubled. They were to be delivered up to tribulation and be killed and hated for His name's sake; they were to see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet; they were to pray that their flight would not be in winter or on the Sabbath; they were not to believe reports from the false prophets and christs of their day; Jesus told them beforehand; they were to learn the parable of the fig tree; they were to recognize the signs of His coming as clearly as they recognized the coming of summer and knew that it was near; they were to see all "these things" and know that His coming was near--at the doors! They were to watch because they did not know what hour the Lord was coming; they were to be ready because the Son of Man was coming at an hour they did not expect.

The same is true of Luke 12. Jesus is speaking directly to His disciples and He tells them to be ready. Why? Because He is coming back thousands of years after they die? No! Because He is coming at an hour they do not expect. They knew the generation in which He was coming--their generation (see Matt. 24:34), but they did not know the day nor the hour!

Again, in Luke 21:34-36, Jesus is speaking to those disciples right there with Him. He tells them to take heed lest the Day come upon them unexpectedly. This is not just some general warning to all generations to always expect His coming. These words are spoken to specific people, His disciples, for a reason. He is coming back in their lifetimes! That is why He warns them to "watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Notice that earlier in this chapter Jesus said directly to them: "when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then [you] know that its desolation is near" (vs. 20). Jesus told them about the coming signs in the sun, moon and stars, and on the earth and of how "men's hearts" would fail from the things that were "coming on the earth." These men would "see" the Son of Man "coming on the cloud with power and great glory." Then He tells His disciple that they will also see these things. "Now when these things begin to happen, [you--His disciples right there with Him] look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." We must study these passages carefully in their context!

2 Thessalonians 3:3. To whom is Paul first of all speaking? To whom did he address this letter? What is the audience relevance of this verse? The letter begins: "Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Paul is writing directly to those "brethren" when he asks them to pray for him (and Silvanus and Timothy) that they might "be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men" (verses 1 and 2). Then, speaking directly to and of those brethren of first-century Thessalonica, he says--"the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." Does He not establish us and guard us? Of course he does. But we are not the immediate focus of Paul's words. Again, we must study passages carefully in their context.

2 Timothy 4: 2 Timothy 4 begins with these words "I charge you [Timothy] therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge [mello] the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom." The context, therefore, concerns things that were in Paul and Timothy's day "about to" happen. That is the context of "that Day" and "His appearing." It was about to come in Paul's day! All those who were to love His appearing were of that first-century, "this generation" time-frame. Furthermore, it was Paul who prayed that he personally be delivered from "every evil work." It was Paul who prayed that he personally be preserved "for His heavenly kingdom."

Titus 2:13. This letter is addressed primarily and specifically to "Titus, a true son in our common faith" (verse 4). These are instructions for the proper characteristics of sound Christian behavior. They were to "adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things" (verse. 10).

The "grace of God that brings salvation" had appeared to all men. This grace taught them first of all how to "live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age" (i.e. the age in which they were then living). They of that first-century generation are, therefore, those who were "looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ." That is the context.

Revelation 3:10, 11. These verses must be placed in their historical context which is clearly found in the very first verses of the book. What is the time frame of the entire Revelation? Revelation 1:1 says that John was to be shown those things which were to "shortly" take place--in his day! Verse 3 further clarifies--"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." (See also Revelation 22:6, 10).

In this context of a time that was to shortly take place and a time that was near in John's day, we consider chapter 3. It is clearly addressed to the "church in Philadelphia." Jesus promised them (those of the church of Philadelphia) that He would keep them "from the hour of trial" which was to come upon the whole land" (not "earth"). He told them that He was coming quickly. He came "quickly" in A. D. 70! They of the church of Philadelphia were specifically told to "hold fast" what they had.

We must carefully consider the context and the audience relevance of every passage we seek to exegete correctly.

In Christ, Preterist

I find all these 'Rapture' theories interesting. I heard a sermon on that, and the 'Millenialist' theory, last week. It was quite clearly pointed out that for these theories to be true Christ would have to have three second comings!!!!!

Soon the World is going to experience the Rapture, as it's ushered on the doorstep of humanity... In a moment, In the Twinkling of an Eye, The Rapture will be an Earthly fact of Living Reality.

*Notice- The Door is open(Rapture) in Revelation 4:1, and Matthew 25:10 shares the Bridegroom(Jesus Christ) came, and those who were Ready(Awake) (Wise) Lamps Lit, and filled with oil went in with him to the Marriage, and then (The Door was shut) and those Left Behind entered the Tribulation!

Door in Greek can be seen as Portal(as Enter) and Door in Hebrew is as Delet, Dalet.

King Jesus Christ is the Door! The only way to Heaven(John 14:6)

Matthew 25:10
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and (they that were *ready went in with him to the marriage: and the (door was shut)

John 10:7
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, (I am the door of the sheep)

James 5:8-9
Be ye also patient, stablish your hearts. (*for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh) 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned, behold, the judge standeth before the (door)

Revelation 3:8
I know thy works.(*behold,I have set before thee an (open door) and no man can shut it, for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the (door) and knock. if any man hear my voice, and (open the door) I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The Open Door Rapture…

Revelation 4:1
After this (I looked) and, behold, a (door was opened) in heaven, and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a (trumpet) talking with me. which said, (Come up hither) and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

*Notice- John basically watched The open Door Rapture, and was shown things to come, as ripples in Time, or as Chapters in the Divine Process that is already Written, as foretold in the Holy Bible.

Revelation 1:10

(I was in the Spirit) on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a (trumpet)

John was already in the Spirit, and heard the Trumpet, as he was called up(Taken up) into Heaven with Almighty God, as shared in the Scripture Revelation 1:10

and After he looked(Watched) The experience in Revelation 4:1 After this I looked(a door was opened in heaven)Trumpet (Come up hither) The open Door Rapture!

It's as if John was already called up into Heaven, as Shared in Revelation 1:10 and he Watched The open Door Rapture experience, as shared in Revelation 4:1 when the Trump of God is Blown, and The Door is Open in Heaven, and John(bare record) wrote(Shared) Revelation 1:1-2 all he saw, When John returned to the point in Time where his Body was in Earth Time!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Behold, The Bridegroom Cometh! Watch.

Watching...

Matthew 24:42-44
(Watch) therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what (watch) the thief would come, he would have (watched) and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Notice Revelation 3:3 Shares those who are not Watching, He will come like a Thief. Now is the Time to Watch for our wonderful King Jesus Christ,

1 Thessalonians 5:4-6
(4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief)

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

(6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others, but let us (watch) and be sober)

I say unto you I say unto all, (Watch)

Mark 13:33-37
Take ye heed, (watch) and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

34For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to (watch)

(35Watch ye therefore) for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping (Now it is high time to awake out of sleep. Romans 13:11)

(37And what I say unto you I say unto all, (Watch)

Blessed are those servants(Watching)

Luke 12:37
(Blessed) are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find (watching)

verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

(Watch ye therefore)

Luke 21:34-36
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

(36Watch ye therefore) and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

(Now it is high time to awake out of sleep)

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

When asked What Time is It? Say, Now it is high time to awake out of sleep.

(Look) for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ)

Philippians 3:20-21
For our conversation is in heaven, from whence also we (look) for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ)

Behold, I come as a thief. (Blessed) is he that (watcheth) and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

1 Thessalonians 5:4

Default Absolutely Awesome Post!!!!

Praise God!!! Isaiah, this is one of the most well written posts concerning the Rapture related to scripture I have ever seen!!!

I had the thought recently to do a thread exactly like this, but you have saved me the trouble!! It's awesome!! I am so excited that there are people who understand that God will not allow His saints to suffer through this horrible tribulation to come.

Do not pay attention to negativity, because I can feel the presence of God in this thread and you are following HIS direction.

And just to share my personal thoughts and feelings and what I have been doing........I have been cleaning my house from top to bottom, changing my sheets and washing ALL of my clothes, getting rid of things and giving them to Salvation Army for others to use, and getting rid of old papers or things that contain highly personal information. I have felt led to do all of things for one reason.

That's how close it is, brothers and sisters. Get your affairs in order!!!! Come, Lord Jesus!!! Amen!

Hi Preterist,

I agree wholeheartedly. We are not dealing with flesh and blood here but to some kind of spiritual blindness. The target of wrath is also clear. Ignoring elements of time also spills over into a completely irrational approach. Why did the generation who rejected Jesus and saw his miraculous works escape the greatest wrath? Why are people who never saw Jesus raise anyone from the dead or those who never sent him to the Romans suffer a greater wrath? Jesus himself said if Tyre and Sidon saw such great works they would have repented.

1 Thessalonians
14For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews, 15who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God, but hostile to all men,
16 hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved; with the result that they always fill up the measure of their sins But wrath has come upon them to the utmost.

Again the generation was then. What else could this promise is for you mean? Did that generation escape the wrath?

Acts 2
39"For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself."
40And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation!"

Which generation committed the offense?

Luke 17
25" But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

Matthew 23
35so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
36"Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon his generation.

So we have ample support of exactly who "you" was for both wrath and the escape from it.

Hmmmm, I guess I was blessed 'spiritually' when I was a child...since I understood the Bible even then, except the book of Revelation ( and very few understand it, no matter how 'spiritual' they claim to be! ).

Default delivered us from the wrath to come

The Born Again(New Creatures) who Rapture will be Caught up into the clouds with Jesus Christ, and those Left Behind will Experience The Wrath, Tribulation(Fire)

Psalm 105:15
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Delivered, Saved Now with King Jesus Christ, and From(out of) The Tribulation(Wrath) to come.

(even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come)

Romans 5:9

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, (*we shall be saved from wrath through him)

1 Thessalonians 1:10

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even (*Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come)

1 Thessalonians 5:9-11

For God hath not appointed us to wrath*) but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

God Reserves Wrath For His Enemies

Job 21:30

That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

Psalms 11:6

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

Psalm 21:9

Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

Psalm 79:6

Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.

Romans 1:18

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

Isaiah 13:13

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

*Interesting to know the furnace was also heated seven times more Daniel 3:19, and Isaiah 30:26 shares the light of the sun shall be sevenfold.

Isaiah 30:26

(Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun)

(and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold)

(as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound)

Ezekiel 20:47

And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree(the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein)

Zechariah 14:12

And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Malachi 4:1

(For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven) and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and (the day that cometh shall burn them up) saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

*The Tribulation after the rapture is a time of great Wrath(Fire) as shared in 2 Peter 3:3-7, and 2 Peter 3:10-12. The Sealed 144,000 in the Tribulation can be seen as Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego who were not harmed in the Fire.

*Notice: in the Tribulation (Heat) as shared in Revelation 7:16 They shall hunger no more, (neither thirst any more) (neither shall the sun light on them, nor any (heat) The Tribulation Saints who get saved in the Tribulation) Also the scripture Revelation 16:9 Speaks of extreme Heat, Men were scorched with great heat, The Title Global Warming is a man made Title etc(it's much more than people using to much hair spray etc)

The Global WARNING 2 Peter 3:3-7, and 2 Peter 3:10-12

Almighty God rescued Noah, and his family(The Righteous) and then destroyed the face of the Earth with water as shared in Luke 17:26-27 and now (The Righteous) will be rescued (Raptured) before the Tribulation, Wrath, and the face of the Earth is destroyed by fire...

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever

Isaiah 26:20-21

(Rapture)

Come,my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee hide thyself as it were for a little moment until the indignation be overpast.

(Tribulation)

For,behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

We call it Prophecy Ushered Forth! The elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:10-12

This prophetic truth spoken by a prophet named Nahum is breathtaking!

Nahum 1:2

God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth;the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

There will be many Wars, Earthquakes, with Famine, Pestilence, and Volcanoes, and Falling Stars, Sun Heat etc.

Also Tidal waves, Super storms, and flooding but the face of the World will be destroyed by Wrath, Tribulation(Fire) As you can see in 2 Peter 3:3-7

The Wrath begins to accelerate in revelation 6(the seals)us chosen new creatures Rapture revelation 4:1

*As you can see in Revelation 6:15-17 many attempt to hide in caves(Dens)In the Rocks of the Mountains etc. From the Wrath of the Lamb(Jesus Christ) and perhaps many will attempt to hide from Wormwood etc. In Revelation 8:1-11

For the record people can't hide from Almighty God!

Revelation 6:15-17

"And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

(7 Angels given Trumpets) As the Trumpets are blown we see Wrath, and Judgment. Revelation 8:1-11

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Revelation 6:15-17 many attempt to hide in caves(Dens) In the Rocks of the Mountains etc.

From the Wrath of the Lamb(Jesus Christ)

In the Caves, Dens, Forts of the Earth

Isaiah 2:19

And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Isaiah 2:21

To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Ezekiel 33:27

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD, As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

Hebrews 11:38

(Of whom the world was not worthy) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Revelation 3:3

(Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard) and hold fast, and repent.

If therefore thou shalt not (watch) I will come on thee as a thief* and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Revelation 16:15

Behold, *I come as a thief. (Blessed) is he that (watcheth) and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

1 Thessalonians 5:4

(4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, *that that day should overtake you as a thief.)

Rapture will happen AFTER the tribulation. The bible clearly teaches this.

Many churches believe this until about 70-80 years ago.
The new rapture teachings is the new 'promotion' for people to get 'saved now'.

What most people dont realize is that they can die before the rapture happens.
