we speak of being saved as if it is a burden to us.
we try to find ways to take short cuts. trying to find a way to live in our worldly desires and follow god. we cannot have roots in the world and be marching to zion..it wil hold us back.. we must be cut free from sin completly.
being saved from our flesh is a gift to us. to become free from the chains of our flesh is the promise to us, so that we can love unconditionally and wholly without restriction.
it is not just words, it is a reality. we must live the truth and become new, not just speak of it.

There are lots and lots of doctrines about sin.
But when you see Christ IN you, working IN you Himself, then you will see sin begin to die.

If there's one thing that the serpent/flesh does NOT want, is for God to dwell in the man He has created for Himself.
Even Christians will fight against God ruling IN them!

Blessings,
brian

This is true, but we need community without constraints, except for biblical teaching and living. We cannot be IN the world, dealing with the lusts of the flesh, and the desires of life, and still expect to live Godly lives.

Why?

Our carnal human nature will war with our spirits non stop. We see it daily, hourly, and by the minute. It is on TV, it is around the corner, it is within our own households. It is at work, at play, in schools. Everywhere, ALL the time.

It is kinda like a recovering alcoholic living in a liquor store.

The only way out of the nightmare, is to LEAVE the nightmare. But to leave the nightmare, is to SEE the nightmare. Think of the Israelites of old, leaving Egypt. They desired to go back under bondage, not because life was easier, but because it was uniform, and orderly.

Then when the spirit has matured, and Christ has settled in completely, we can really and truly live as God intends. The outside world-system is where we can minister to bring others into the fold. Otherwise, we are to shake the dust off our feet when they refuse His reign over them to be saved.

Otherwise, life remains really rough for the believer. Pray for these who have not left Babylon yet spiritually, or carnally. They need all the prayers they can get for intercession and protection from evil.

Anyway,,

Peace be with you,

Tony.

if we all pray for each other that would be so great , we all need god's help so that we do not stumble and fall into traps that babylon sets for us.
