The bible never says suicide is a sin to begin with. Suicide is the symptom of severe mental illness or the reaction to massive trauma or extreme suffering in the present.
If a believer is in a sound mind and sound heart then suicide may be a mortal sin and Jesus will have to Judge this person who may be rejected or he could lose his crowns at The Great Judgement, But if this believer is in distress or mentally ill or challenge mentally then Lord Jesus should give this person a pass on his Judgement seat to be rose up on his last days and will see Heaven....... The late Healing Evangelist Oral Roberts lost his saved son to suicide , and the Lord Jesus told him that distress when he lost his mind saved him........
