I thought this was interesting. And truly i do not intend to antagonize Mormons, but i am curious how Mormons respond to these beliefs under public scrutiny ...

~~|~~ @Com: Mormonism on Space Travel, KOLOB

Any thoughts on the material in the link above?

It's what Joe Smith taught. It's what Brigham Young taught.

"Modern day" Mormons don't allow it to be taught. I think their rationale was that it wasn't mainstream enough.

If you really are a Mormon, you don't know much about Mormon history.

I'm not a Mormon, but i have done some study on early Mormonism and it seems to have been allot different back then compared to what it is today.

It must be that the old beliefs embarrass contemporary Mormons, and i can understand why, they are pretty outlandish.

I mean i checked it out from other sources and the whole "Kolob" story checks out. Its even mentioned in the book of abraham ...

Is it that there are different denominations of Mormons or something?
If you want to read my last post on my thread, it tells the truth about what we believe and not the embellished version. Believe me, it's nowhere near as wild. Sorry to disappoint.

They taught what is in LDS scriptures, not what was on that website.

How would you know what we allow to be taught? We teach from our scriptures and we have absolutely no interest in being "mainstream."

What pathetic, unsubstantiated drivel.
