Hi everyone!
Since I've received a couple of messages in response to my posts regarding Quakerism, I thought I'd add a couple links here for anyone interested. Quakers are Christians who believe that the Light of Christ, which "lighteth every man," is in everyone. Sacraments, consecrated church buildings and religious heirarchies (priests, pastors, etc) which "control" the people are all unnecessary, since we are all called to be ministers to the Lord. We can all listen to the voice of Christ within us.

A general help:
Quakerism: A Religion Meaningful (http://quakerinfo.org/quakerism/Qreligm.html - broken link)

A whole lot of links here:
The Religious Society of Friends

And here's the link which discusses some of the main differences between Quakers and Fundamentalists:
A Quaker's Response to Christian Fundamentalism - Sallie B. King

Blessings to all here,
Brian

Unfortunately they feel the same way about the Bible. It is an 'evolving' religion where people 'follow' the spirit, even when they know it contradicts the word of God.

The only way to contradict the Word of God is to contradict Jesus and His unambiguous example of the TRUE NATURE of God.
