Friends,
please remember one thing:
no matter what other people may tell you, God loves you, and He will do what is necessary to make you fit for eternity with Him.
You cannot do it on your own, so don't go thinking you're inadequate, because He made you, and He knows how to help you when you can do no more. You are His, and He does not make junk. You are the clay, and He is the potter.
May we all grow in grace, and with patience in our hearts, let us fix our desires and hopes on knowing Him more and more.
May you all be very blessed this holiday season and throughout 2011!
In Jesus' name,
Brian

You are no friend to those whom you would convince that there is no eternal condemnation for those who reject Christ.
God has done everything necessary to make salvation possible for man. But as declared in the clearly revealed words of Scripture, there is no salvation apart from personal faith in Christ Jesus. This is stated over and over again in the New Testament.
There is no chance of salvation after death. Luke 16:19-31 makes that clear, as does Hebrews 9:27.
As of the moment of salvation, a person has been 'made fit for eternity with God.' Those who die without Christ are fit only for eternity in the lake of fire.

What Mike wants us to believe is that we must QUALIFY to receive God's Grace because He is unable to save us without our permission. That view is contrary to God's Word. It is co-savior theology and false.
If you have to QUALIFY in any manner to be saved then Grace is no longer a GIFT of God.
Hi Truth light,
We've all rejected Christ, friend! But praise God, He doesn't give up on us, He just keeps calling and calling, working as the Good Shepherd, until He brings the whole flock back in again.
We all, as sheep, have gone astray..
He saved me, He'll save the rest! He is Able to save to the Uttermost. Amen!

He just keeps calling and calling......
1. In knowing that He keeps calling and calling.....yes, working as the Good Shepherd (thank you Lord), when do you think is a good time to answer?
2. Or, are you one of those who believes He'll do that for you too?

When He finds you, you'll know it, and rejoice with joy unspeakable!..
It's all in His hands, Betsey. He knows how to get little old you and me and everyone else back into the flock. We can't do it, but He can.
To Him be the Glory....

What I want people to realize is that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Personal faith (which is non-meritorious) in Christ is the means by which a person reaches out and takes the free gift of salvation.
John 5:40 ''And you are unwilling to come to Me, that you may have life.''
Acts 16:31 ''Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.''
Salvation, which Christ made possible by His work on the cross, is contengent upon personal faith in Christ.
