When Christ walked this earth to teach us the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven and how to be saved one of the essential elements of his teaching was repentance. John the Baptist, whom Christ said was the greatest man ever to walk this earth besides himself, also spoke of repentance. If fact John the Baptist was consumed with convincing people to stop sinning. Why has this teaching seemed to have gone extinct, in this modern age? Today the majority of the church will not even dare to mention that repentance is essential in knowing God and developing a close relationship with him. They will say, "the only requirement from us is to simply believe," leading many people to believe they are saved. Even Christ himself said there are giong to be many people who believed in him only to hear him say on that great day of judgement, "depart from me, you who practice lawlessness." The book of Revelation which is very relavant to the days were now in, was written to the church and it gives stern warnings from Christ to repent - people who believe, and some are even doing great things. Just as he says if we don't repent and come out of her, the world, these last plagues will fall on us as well.

This is my witness and testimony of the one true God, and invitation to the revelation of the worthy Lamb of God that takes away our sins (Revelation 12:11). You are invited to eternal life in the Kingdom of God where we will forever worship the almighty creator of every living thing. He is the only God that ever was or will be, and he is worthy of eternal worship from his creation. (Revelation 4:11)
Before the world began, God knew that his creation would make the wrong choices. He knew that even though he would prove himself time and time again, many would reject him and choose their own ways... even Adam. His plan of salvation also existed before he created the world. But of course you realize that you have a choice. No matter what it seems he has allowed each individual to choose what and who they love. Yes, he has proven himself time and time again and there is only one person who has proven to be this predestined savior. His name is Yahushua the Christ, the promise of God, and God himself in the flesh. God came to earth as a man in order to conquer death for us. To fulfill righteousness he lived a perfect sinless life but was tempted just as we are. He then offered up his life as a sacrifice for all mankind. He literally let his own creation beat him, spit in his face, and put him to death without retaliation. His resurrection from the grave allows us to follow him if we accept his plan of salvation. THERE IS NO OTHER SAVIOR BUT HIM!!!
The meaning of life is God. He has told us who he is and what he is about. When Moses asked God to reveal to him his GLORY, God answered, "surely I will reveal to you my GOODNESS" (Exodus 33:19). This means that being the all powerful creator of the Heavens, Earth, and every living thing in them is not the most glorious thing about him. God says that his glory is his goodness. He is the father of love and truth and he cannot lie. He is light and there is no darkness in him at all (1st John 1:5). God revealed his glory to us all in Yahushua Christ. This is what God was thinking of when he promised to show Moses his glory. Throughout the "Old Testament" there are many promises from God concerning our coming savior. It is also clear that he was going to be God himself in the flesh (Isaiah 9:6). Aren't you thankful that you exist and were created by a God who is absolutely perfect, and he promises us that we will never die (except for our earthly bodies), and we will live with him forever in his Kingdom of JOY. Surely the place where God dwells has to be the most wonderful place possible.
So how does a person get to know God and make sure that they will live with him forever? The answer is in the teachings of Yahushua Christ. He says we must stop sinning, be baptized by full water submersion, obey the Ten Direct Commandments of God, and follow the teachings of Christ (which is basically the Ten Commandments magnified to the extreme). Also, these are the days of Grace. We are commanded to love our enemies now. We have time to repent now, but there is coming a day, very soon, when time will be up.
In Daniel 12:3-4, the angel gives Daniel one of the most profound prophecies concerning the last days. The angel tells Daniel, “Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever. 4 But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.” The word increase in the original text literally means an “explosion” of knowledge. This passage of scripture can also be translated to, “they will be rapidly traveling everywhere, and there will be an explosion of knowledge.” It was just around 100 years ago we were on horseback, and now were flying out in space. Without a doubt, were at the very end now.

The Bible

So is the entire Bible the Word of God? I can assure you that it's not. The "Bible" is a collection of many different books that were put together by man and is widely, strongly , accepted by modern Christians as the infallible Word of God. I use to believe the same thing. Christians somehow thinkthat if one word or book is wrong then it's all wrong. The people who put the Bible together are the same ones who ordered the death of the ones who kept obeying the fourth direct commandment of God – Remember to keep the Sabbath Day Holy. The founders of the Roman Catholic Church attempted to change this commandment and make “Sun-day” the Holy day. These are the ones who pray to Mary, who they say she is the Mother of God, and had no sin (How ridiculous, God doesn’t have a mother and even Mary herself said in her prayer, “Oh how I praise God, my savior). This is just a carrying on of the tradition of the pagans of the olden days that worshipped the “Queen of Heaven”. It’s amazing how so many professed Christians believe that the Catholic faith is false doctrine, but they believe the entire Bible is the Word of God, which the Catholics are responsible for putting together. And there are books that are obviously the Word of God, but they weren’t even added to the Bible. The Book of Enoch, and the Book of Jashar – It even says in Genesis that Enoch walked so close with God that he disappeared one day because God took him. Perhaps the reason why it wasn’t put in the Bible was because Enoch tells us the plans of Satan and the fallen angels, and tells us of their horrible judgment that awaits them.
Another example of misinterpretation and bad theology would be concerning the end of the book of Revelation where the angel says that if anyone adds or subtracts from this book they will receive the same plagues that are described in this book. It is believed that the book spoken of is the entire Bible, but it of course is talking about the Book of Revelation by itself. The Bible wasn't even put together when the Book of Revelation was written. Not that I'm condoning adding or subtracting from the Word of God, the majority of the Bible, I'm just giving you an example of error in today's Christian theology.
The writings by Paul, which is most of the New Testament contain undeniable contradictions to themselves and the teachings of Christ. When I decided to forget his writings and strictly obey the teachings of Christ in the Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, that's when I began to understand what's going on in the modern church and Christ was able to set me free from sin. So I highly recommend you not worry about reading anything but the teachings of Christ first and let the Holy Spirit convict you of sin in your life. This is the first step. You must understand what sin is and does to a person and stop immediately! Then listen to the ones who were there with Christ and sat under his teachings during his entire ministry. These are the books of Peter, James, John, and 1st John, 2nd John, 3rd John, and Revelation. Also the Old Testament books are great for learning about God – what he likes and dislikes.
I’ve had a few different translations of the Bible and have concluded very easily that the "New Living Translation" is by far the best. The New Living Translation was put together by some of the best interpreters of the original languages. Study about this translation for yourself. Since many words in different languages mean different things when put into sentences it's important to fully understand what the writer was saying and understand what the words really mean in the sentence. It's an equivalent thought translation. Much like an interpreter today would do if interpreting to you what some is saying is an unknown language. If they speak both languages very well and understand clearly what the person is saying then they would be able to accurately give you the message. If they were to give you an exact word for word translation then a lot of times it would make no sense and it would be very confusing. The New Living Translation is a very easy to read translation and it’s not expanded or amplified. It's straight up, exactly what the original writer was saying.

Contradictions in the Writings of Paul

Christ - "And yet I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you who are like Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to worship idols by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin." (Revelation 2:14)

Paul- "Now lets talk about food that has been sacrificed to idols... So now, what about it? Should we eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols? You know there's nothing wrong with it." * Here Paul speaks out against those who say not to do this and claims they think they know it all and belittles their obedience to God. He says if you believe it's wrong then your a weak Christian. He says you can do it as long as other Christians aren't around who think it's wrong. (1 Corinthians chapter eight)

"The people with Saul stood speechless with surprise, for they heard the sound of someone's voice, but they saw no one!" (Acts 9:7)

"The people with me saw the light but didn't hear the voice"(Acts 22:8)

* So did they hear the voice or not? Are both of these statements the word of God? This book may not have been written by Paul but it's an undeniable error that deals with Paul's conversion and gives me great concern.

Christ - "and don't address anyone here on earth as Father, for only God in Heaven is your Spiritual Father." (Matthew 23:9)

Paul - "For even if you had ten thousand others to teach you about Christ, you have only one Spiritual Father. For I became your Father in Christ when I preached the good news to you."
(1 Corinthians 4:15)

* If the books written by Paul were never added to the Bible then Christians would be able to live a more obedient life to Christ and you would hardly ever find hypocrites. God wouldn't be blasphemed as much and unbelievers would be more drawn to faith in the real God.
I'll never forget what God showed me one day at a coffee shop. It was shortly after church had let out and I was sitting in the coffee shop by myself having coffee when I noticed a group of "Christians" sitting around a table talking. On the other side was a group of non-Christians sitting around a table talking. The Holy Spirit told me to pay close attention to both conversations. I noticed the conversations from the Christians were full of foolishness and gossiping, and the group of non-believers were having a very decent conversation and seemed very mature. I couldn't believe it. I would have rathered to sit at the non-believers table and join in with their conversation.
I'm not trying to say that all Christians are fake though because I'm sure their are many churches who are trying to follow Christ with all of their heart. Even I use to read the books by Paul and because I really wanted to obey Christ, my life was still somewhat free of sin. So I realize that judgment is up to God and only he knows the heart of the individual person. So it is possible for someone to believe the books of Paul are the word of God but yet whole heartedly follow the teachings of Christ and live by the power of the Holy Spirit. I'm sure they struggle with the tug of war between faith vs. works more but because they truly love God with all of their heart they are saved. I am noticing a change in all the churches I visit though and it's not for the good.

Teachings from Christ

"Not all people who sound religious are really godly. They may refer to me as Lord but they still won't enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The decisive issue is whether or not they obey my Father in Heaven." (Matthew 7:21)

"But don't begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction without first getting estimates and then checking to see if there's enough money to pay the bills?"
(Luke 14:28)

"Yahushua said to the people who believed in him, "you are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings. And you will know the truth and THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE." "But we are descendants of Abraham," they said. "We have never been slaves to anyone on earth. What do you mean, "set free"?" Yahushua replied, "I ASSURE YOU THAT EVERYONE WHO SINS IS A SLAVE OF SIN. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. SO IF THE SON SETS YOU FREE, YOU WILL INDEED BE FREE." (John 8:31-36)

* Notice how Christ mentions being a slave of sin. He says that he can set you free. Well what is he saying that he can set you free from? If your sin and are a slave to sin, then obviously he means to set you free from sinning. If you bring this up to a Christian chances are they were taught that this means being set free to sin and be their self which makes no sense at all. The common teaching in the church now is that you are free to be you and do all things in moderation. This comes straight from the teachings of Paul. This also contradicts being born again.

"Now you are well, so stop sinning or something even worse may happen to you"
(John 5:13)

"You have heard that the Law of Moses says, "Do not commit adultery", but I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So if your eye - even if it is your good eye - causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. AND IF YOUR HAND - EVEN IF IT IS YOUR STRONGER HAND - CAUSES YOU TO SIN, CUT IT OFF AND THROW IT AWAY. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” (Matthew 5:27-30)

“Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new teachings as well as the old.” (Matthew 13:52)

“The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses. So practice and obey whatever they tell you, but don’t follow their example. For they don’t practice what they teach.” (Matthew 23:2-3)

Teachings from True Disciples/Apostles

Peter, James, and John are like a mirror of the teachings of Christ. As you read their words it's obvious who they had become and the teachings of Christ had a huge impact on their lives. It's obvious that John was experiencing a life free of sin and would never call himself a sinner. He never would have wrote these things if it wasn't true:

“And how can we be sure that we belong to him? By obeying his commandments."
(1st John 2:3)

"So if we continue to live in him, we won't sin either. But those who keep on sinning have never known him or understood who he is. But when people keep on sinning it shows that they belong to the devil who has been sinning since the beginning. BUT THE SON OF GOD CAME TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL. THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN BORN INTO GODS FAMILY DO NOT SIN, because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning, because they have been born of God. So now we can tell who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil."
(1st John Chapter 3)

* John's point is not that we have never sinned. He's trying to tell us about the power of God and the power of the sacrifice of Yahushua Christ in our life if we repent and obey. In this book he also says if we do sin after repenting and committing our life to Christ we can ask for forgiveness and of course God will forgive us, but it should not happen. That is what we are to believe and if we don't then we may not be saved. It’s simple – If you don’t believe and obey Christ your not going to make it. Sure, there is a lot of truth in the writings of Paul but all it takes are a few trip up teachings to mislead you. Ironically it's these few sentences that most of today's Christians hold fast to because they want to feel comfortable with sin, and as the years go by what we have is a bunch of people who say they believe in God and even go to church but they really aren't much different than the rest of the world. Satan is very smart and he will always bring some truth to you but his intention is to keep you in sin.

Belief

The book of Isaiah was written about 800 years before Yahushua Christ came to earth and it's one of the most prophetic books in the Bible concerning Christ. After one thoroughly studies this book it becomes clear that it is the words of our creator - mainly because of chapter 53. The entire chapter is about Yahushua's purpose on earth and how much he would suffer for our sins. The most convincing thing about this scripture is that no one had any idea what this meant when it was written because the Jews were expecting the Messiah to come as a man of war and restore their earthly kingdom. In fact, it was his own people who betrayed him and had him crucified. So we can be even more sure that his life and death wasn't some sort of Jewish conspiracy to start a new religion. Perhaps even Isaiah didn't even fully understand what he was writing in this chapter.
Isaiah is a very powerful and heart grabbing book. Isaiah begins his book as God says, "even the animals - the donkey and the ox - know their owner and appreciate his care, but not my people Israel. No matter what I do for them, they still do not understand." How true that statement is. Can you imagine being there and witnessing the miracles that Christ performed? During the last three years of his life here on earth he went from town to town proving who he was by healing people of all sorts of sicknesses and diseases. He even rose the dead; including Lazarus who had been in the tomb dead for four days (John chapter 11). So what would you have done if you were there witnessing these things? It's hard to imagine anyone witnessing this and yet still refusing to repent and follow his teaching but that's what many people did. There were many who he healed and said they believed in him but in the end, when they realized his plan didn't line up with their plan, they also cried out - crucify him! In John 3:19-21 Christ explains why this happens by saying that it's because people like to sin and they don't want to stop.
But I love reading the words of the man who was born blind (John 9). After Yahushua miraculously healed his eyes, certain religious leaders tried to convince him that Yahushua was not sent from God and that he was a sinner. They insisted on him confessing the same but he said, "Why that's very strange! He healed my eyes and you don't know anything about him! Well, God doesn't listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will. Never since the world began has anyone been able to open the eyes of someone born blind. If this man weren’t from God, He couldn't do it." Wow, what it must have been like for this man to be able to see for the first time in his life. Of course after he told them this they were furious because "he" was teaching "them", and they threw him out of the synagogue.
So knowing the facts about Christ is very important. It's these things that help us to stand strong when others come to us trying to disprove God and who Christ was, and is. Not only can we learn about God through the Old Testament prophets, we have eye witness accounts of the life, teachings, and miracles of Christ that were written by people who obviously experienced a dramatic change in their life. Because they truly obeyed him their teachings are like a mirror of his teachings and their is no exception for sin. When you read the books of Peter, James, and John it should be obvious to you that you're reading the words of someone who is telling you 100% truth. What a blessing it is to have these books! So start by reading John, 1st and 2nd Peter, James, 1st 2nd and 3rd John, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Isaiah, Psalms, and Proverbs. Deeply meditate on what you're reading as you pray for insight and understanding and it won't take long for this truth to enter your heart and cause you to know beyond all doubt that Christ is exactly who he said he is. This is the first step.

Counting the Cost

Yes it's true, there's absolutely nothing you can do that's worth eternal life, and you can't buy your way into Heaven by your works. God is indeed, beyond our imagination gracious, and it's because he loves us so much that he sent his only begotten son into this world to be the sacrifice for our sins. His plan of salvation required grace. His grace is available continuously and as long as we are breathing we have the opportunity to be saved. So what does Christ mean when he says that we must count the cost, or that we will be judged according to our works? This really isn't that hard to understand. Just because nothing we can do is worth eternal life and God is gracious, doesn't mean we can keep on sinning. Christ couldn't have made this any clearer, but yet many still insist on twisting his words or even forgetting them, passing them by, and not giving it much thought.
Counting the cost means denying yourself. It's the exact opposite of pride. It's yielding to others and not getting upset when someone doesn't agree with you because you want to be right. It's waking up in the morning and making sure the first thing that hits the ground is your knees! It's not caring about what people think about you and possibly not having many friends. It's refusing to let this world corrupt us, and so much more. There is definitely a high cost to obeying Christ. If you study the teachings of Christ and you really want to repent then you'll understand because the Holy Spirit will teach you. The absolute most important thing a person can do is take the teachings of Christ to heart. What he says is not a joke and shouldn't be taken lightly. Everything he says is absolute truth, and believe it or not your soul is at stake. It's very important not to skip over anything he says no matter how it feels. You must love his discipline! The biggest downfall of most "believers" is that they don't take his teachings and warnings all that serious. As you read his teachings you will find alot of things he said is very hard to accept. For example, he says to not get married a second time, but there are many Christians who do it anyway. Can they be forgiven? Of course, but the reason they did it was because they didn't take that scripture serious and chose to overlook it. Things like that are extremely dangerous! It's definitely not loving God with all of your heart.
If you want to study the best sermon ever preached then read Matthew chapter five, through chapter seven, and take that to heart. You'll find out what the cost is real quick. I think the toughest cost for me personally was realizing I had to love my enemies. It's real easy to say, "yeah, ok God I'll do that," but when someone is intentionally testing you and trying to push your buttons it's tough. Don't be fooled though, unless you come to the point where you can actually say you feel God's love for them in the midst of that persecution then your not obeying God. The truth is, when your really born again the Holy Spirit will be helping you, because you made the choice to obey this with all your heart. You'll get to the point where you understand that there are powers of darkness who are at work inside that person and they want you to be mad at the one created in God's image. The real enemy is Satan and the powers of darkness. Christ is deeply concerned about you allowing God's love to work through you and help that person created in his image. Being angry with that person will only do more harm. So take the teachings of Christ to heart! learn from him, not me. He can open your eyes, not me!

Then he said, "I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven."
(Matthew 18:3-4)

Repent and Be Baptized

Besides Christ, there's no one who can explain this as good as John the Baptist. You can read about him in Matthew chapter three. Christ said that of all who have ever lived there's no one greater than John the Baptist. That's a very bold statement. If John the Baptist was only allowed to say two words, it would have been - stop sinning! Of course he not only said that, he also told everyone that the savior had arrived, repent and be water baptized, and obey and follow Christ. That was his job. But if there's one thing that really sticks out about John's message it's his words against sin. No, it wasn't, "Praise God, its ok now! All you have to do is believe in Christ and everything will be ok, God's grace is here! It's man's nature to sin! But you won't be judged according to your works if you believe in Christ! We all fall short! Did God say you can be born again? Naaaaaa, you won't "really" be born again. God knows how sinful we are. The Lamb isn't "that" powerful." That's the exact opposite of what he was saying and I often wonder what it would be like if he were alive today.

Find a pastor who you believe is following Christ with all of his heart and let him baptize you by fully submersing you underwater. When you do this you should be thinking about how sorry you are for rebelling against God and all of the things you've done that has separated you from him. You should be deeply sorry for your past sins and when you come up out of the water you are committed to obey him. After this is done then cry out for him to baptize you into his Holy Spirit. He will come and live inside of you and teach you everything you need to know. You won't need any man to teach you anything.

Following Christ

Following Christ means to fulfill God's purpose for your life here on earth. Once you remove the log out of your own eye, then you can begin to help remove the speck out of your neighbors eye. The only purpose for your life here on earth once you give your life to God, is to share him with others so they can live forever too! Christ said that no one would light a lamp and then hide it. God lights the lamp and then puts it on a lamp stand. There are many ways to be a light though and it's not just the outward things you can do or words you can say. It's your life that you live... along with the words. It's being a prayer warrior. Don't believe that certain people have the gift of being a prayer warrior. Every child of God is a prayer warrior and this is the greatest weapon that we have. There's nothing we can do that's more powerful than real prayer. Not saying some written prayer over and over either. That's useless. Realize that we are a created being that has the ability to communicate with God and this can be extremely powerful, especially when we have no doubt. Communication is key!!! Also, when we follow Christ we are to serve one another. This doesn't mean to go along with peoples games who are trying to test you and play with your mind, or control you. You don't have to go along with that witchcraft. You should however be looking for ways to serve your brothers and sisters, and even your neighbor whom you may not even know. Be careful though, Christ did say to not cast your pearls to swine. He also said to be as harmless as a dove, but wiser than a serpent. There is a lot of witchcraft these days, and you'll notice that people want to control you and play all sorts of power tripping games. Just pray for them and obey God.

Endure to the End

Once you are on the right path you'll find that you are very much going against the flow and you will notice that there is in fact a spiritual war going on. Satan and the powers of darkness will do everything they can to snatch what you've come to believe away from your heart. This is proof enough that God is real and you'll definitely experience this. It's not all that tough though. It's just every now and then and God will help you out a lot, as long as you keep praying for his help and seeking him with all of your heart.

* Last but definitely not least - The number four commandment has not changed. "Remember" to keep the Sabbath Day holy. There's one scripture that proves this as fact and it comes directly from the mouth of God himself (Christ). In Matthew chapter 24 Christ is speaking about the final days of this earth just before he returns and he makes reference to "The Sabbath Day". He says, "Pray that your flight be not in winter or on the Sabbath Day." By making reference to the Sabbath Day in these last days he clearly shows us that in FACT the Sabbath Day is still the Sabbath Day. To keep the Sabbath Day and obey this commandment simply means to not work on this day spend the entire day, from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday thinking about God, resting. It's a day to be spent with God and your brothers and sisters. It's a very refreshing thing to do. If you have to work and you don't have a choice then of course God understands and make sure that every penny goes to God that's earned on that day then it can be justified. For example, maybe you can use that money to go toward printing of tracts that you may write, or use it in some way that goes to help someone. This is another reason why we desperately need the Holy Spirit to teach us these things.

This prayer is for the person who is reading this right now and wants to anonymously give their life to God. I want to help you and lead you into your new birth into the Kingdom of God. If I'm talking to you then that means you have decided you have rebelled against God and you realize you have sinned, and you want God to help you to stop sinning. You want God to open your spiritual eyes right now. As you read this, consider that me, you, and the Holy Spirit are praying this prayer for you and all you have to do is agree and say to yourself and God, yes. It's that simple.

Father Yahua, in the name of Yahushua I pray for this person right now who wants to repent of sin and be born again. This person believes that you sent Yahushua to be the sacrifice for their sin and they accept and honor that. We pray that you would bind Satan from their life, in the name of Yahushua, and let your word produce fruit. May your Holy Spirit have it's way in this person and reveal to them your salvation. Your word says that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, so we bind all powers of darkness from our life so that we can be free to think with our own mind and have your peace. We cry out to you God with all of our heart right now because we know for a fact that you will answer. There's no way we are going to stay the same because we're praying to you, the Almighty Living God who cannot lie and promises to be found by those who search for you. Thank you for setting us free. Yes... thank you precious Holy Spirit for what your doing right now at this very moment in our life. We repent of all sin and we welcome you to live inside of this... your temple.
