Yup. You do that with your own bible. You don't do the reasearch to see what is true and you hold onto what you have been taught by other ignoraant men. The blind leading the blind. You ignore what Jesus taught and dwell on the things that don't matter. When you love God and each other, there is nothing in the world that can stop you from moving mountains. You keep your fear and I'll keep the Love that Jesus offered.
I personally like to hear what people have to say. I may not always like it but on the other hand, I may learn something. If it doesn't speak of Love, I know it's not Truth. Your bible is one big horror story so maybe you should tear out the OT and only keep parts of the NT.

I am sure you find it comical to see a Christian trying to discuss the Bible and have his/her voice drowned by a gang of atheists and universalists outnumbering him/her ten to one. Nah, the OP is right, this is not a Christian board, it is an anti-Christian board.
What you fail to comprehend is that many of us are former Christians, who after careful and critical examination of the beliefs, found it to be seriously wanting.
If one is not willing to give a defense for the beliefs that they hold dear when others challenge that belief with sound evidence, then perhaps that one should steer clear of public forums. Just saying...
I still consider myself a bordline fundamentalist about core Christian principles, but when I came here, I wasn't expecting the Fundy Inquisition...(awaits someone to do the punchline)

Truth is absolute and independent of our opinion. Thinking doesn't make it so. Truth is not relative to our opinion.
"Christian" has become a loose label. Followers of Yahushua the messiah is supposedly what it's labeled from. Many have fallen from his teachings however. You can't look at the organization, you look at the person Yahushua. What does he say. What he says is truth.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Yahushua was the creator entering his creation to be the ultimate prophet and sinless sacrifice for our sins. The evidence is out there. The walk is with faith but not blind faith. All religions including the atheistic religion is based on faith. They need more faith than the Bible-believing Yahushua follower however. Followers of Yahushua; however, have a lot more hope. Putting the great hope of reigning with the messiah in the millenium and potentially into eternity aside, start with the question "what is truth."
Start off at absolute truth, and go from there. You have to peel off layers of lies to get there. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction. PM me and I'll send you in the right direction toward truth. You need to come to your own conclusion though.
The greatest barrier of truth is presuming we already have it.

The OP is not talking about willingness to give defence for their beliefs. There is a time and place for everything, and maybe bashing Christians and flooding the forum with anti-Christian messages and beliefs should be done at some place other than a "Christian" forum.
