For those folks who belong to Christian denominations that believe in Sola Fide, why is it that the only place in the Bible that the two words "faith alone" appears next to each other, the words "not by" is situated right before them. Still think Sola Fide is biblical? Do you think Jesus came up with the concept of Sola Fide or was it a man?
Romans 3:4 - By no means! Let God be true though every man be false, as it is written, "That thou mayest be justified in thy words, and prevail when thou art judged."
If your denomination agrees with Sola Fide, then you might do some more research.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
Faith without works...
"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." James 2:17 KJV
"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God," Hebrews 6:1
Salvation is a gift from God through his messiah Jesus. He has chosen us even though we may believe we have chosen him (Ephesians 1:4 KJV.) Evidence of born-again salvation is transformation of one's values, personality, etc. (Romans 12:2 KJV) This transformation produces works/fruits of repentance (Matthew 3:8.) "Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." (Matthew 7:19 KJV)

See Lee, we can agree on some things. We are saved by Grace alone.
