I guess im like a drill seargent...I tell them once to get off the phone..and after that..i just unplug it.

then i hear..dad..your sooooo mean..and 10 minutes later everythings fine-lol.

LOL! Yeah, I bet you're a real meanie, arguy!

My husband's two sisters were much, much older than him in the family order.
His only memory of them living at home was when he was about three, his dad came in and forcibly "hung up" the phone his sister was using after being told to get off of it. He remembers her crying! That is his absolute only early memory!

Oh, you guys are about to enter "the fun years!"

Actually, my son would always tell me that he couldn't get off yet because he was "counseling!"

at the risk of gettin mildly flamed for this...I give the kids money for A's on their report cards..and this year..both girls wanna spend their money on manicures..if I didnt have daughters..I wouldnt even know what a manicure was-lol

Ohhhhh, I can SOOOOO relate to this!!!!

Two teens...although my daughter doesn't live at home anymore, my 16 year old son has taken her place on the phone! I didn't know that boys could/WOULD spend as much time on the phone as girl does! I have NEVER met a boy that was willing to talk on the phone that much!

My son is 6 and once he gets on the phone it's is like pulling teeth to get him to say "good bye"
