Hi everyone!
I know we heard that old saying in that sometimes God doesn't heal everyone, yet nothing can be further from the truth. God gave us His own Son, why in the world would He withhold healing from us? Is healing more worthy than His Son? It takes us back to that Scripture where it talks about if God did not spare His Son for our sake (can find it in Romans ch. 8 verse 32), that through Jesus, how shall our Father not freely give us all things? Again, God gave us everything when He sent His only Son to save us. Surely He will not withold a thing like healing from us.
Also remember, just like we receive our salvation and righteousness through Jesus, our healing is also through Jesus. If you have an ailment in your body, ask yourself does Jesus have that same ailment. Does Jesus have a headache? No? Neither do you in this world. Does Jesus have any kind of sickness? No? Neither do you in this world. All of our aches and pains are variables, and as we know with math equations, variables can change. Yet the principle of the equation remains the same. When we are focused on Jesus, we will be began to equal out to Jesus, being tranformed by His glory. (1 John ch. 4 verse 17)
So if we are looking at ourselves, we will have aches and pains, sicknesses may try to come in and so on. Yet when our focus is on Jesus, those sicknesses have no right to be in our bodies. Keeping the principle of the equation true, and the variable changes. Here's an example of what I'm talking about.
Math Equation:
3x - 4 = 20
3x - 4 + 4 = 20 + 4
3x = 24
3x / 3 = 24 / 3
x = 8
Adam's Equation (Adam to whom we were born after the flesh)
body(x) - disobedience = Adam
body(x) - disobedience + disobedience = Adam + disobedience
body(x) = Fallen state
body(x) / body = Fallen state / body
x = sickness
Jesus' Equation (Born again in Him)
body(x) - obedience = Jesus
body(x) - obedience + obedience = Jesus + obedience
body(x) = Perfection
body(x) / body = Perfection / body
x = wholeness and healing
Of course this is just a picture, but the key is to look on Jesus and be focused on His righteousness. Like a baby who sees people walking, and one day they too began to walk, by beholding others walk. Continue to grow in the faith everyone!
