I let my light shine and tell them the truth.
As it is written;JN 13:14 If I who am teacher and Lord have washed your feet then you must wash each others feet. I have given you an example. What I have done that is what you must do.
Psalms; 24:3 Who can climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 He whose hands are sinless, and whose heart is clean.
25:12 When a man reveres the Lord, He will teach him the way he should choose. 13 He will abide in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the land. 14 The friendship of the Lord is with those who revere him, and he makes his covenant known to them.
28:8 The Lord is the strength of his people; the saving refuge of his anointed.
33:4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are truthful. 5 He loves justice and right;
JN 4:10 If only you recognized Gods gift, and who it is that’s speaking to you, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water. Anyone who drinks the water I give him will never become thirsty the water I give him shall be like a well inside him rising up to provide eternal life.

Weren't we all unbelievers at one point? "And so were some of you..."
I like one evangelist I heard once that called unbelievers "pre-Christians." Would that change your attitude a little if you looked at a non-believer this way?

Exactly. Yet while we read the scriptures with a veiled mind we will never look upon another in the freedom of the Spirit.
Believing in the bible and believing on Jesus Christ are two entirely different things. Only one of them brings you Salvation.

Treat us with the same genuine tolerance and respect that you would wish to be afforded?

I think I will say a prayer that Tony will find some peace,love and tolerance for other Christians besides himself and those who encourage his interpretations of "love your neighbor".

With regards to the original post (and poster) it leads me to ponder:
It has got to be tough to be a "fundamentalist" Christian in modern America. After all, there is that pesky freedom of religion thing, not to mention free market capitalism and all that accumulation of massive wealth and greed going on.
After all, how to reconcile all those citations with the realities of contemporary life, where one cant get though the day without rubbing elbows with all those sinners.
That's why I offer my advice: dont worry about all that stuff Paul wrote. Different era. Different situation. Instead, focus on the message of Jesus. Be right with God. Be right with your neighbor. Do the best you can. Love your "enemies" (meaning those who do not share your believes, and yeah prayer helps.
