Being nice and an unbeliever doesn't get you to Heaven, but a person a once a convicted murderer(not nice) who admitted to being a sinner and repenting unto the Lord because He wanted to change His ways and wants to follow Christ will attain the Kingdom of Heaven.

Well said.

I see the same attitude in the OP mirrored by our Muslim posters: how can you possibly be a decent person if you don't share my beliefs and accept MY way as the truth?

What a pathetic way to judge a person's worth or character.

IMO there are quite a few people who would do well to focus on self-examination...sadly, judgmental types seldom do.

Sure some people can fall between the cracks and not be saved or not personally know the Lord or have any fruit of the spirit,,... but just good people.... The part of speaking tongues and not believe is one i don`t agree with. if you speak tongues than you will be anointed with the gift of the Lord Jesus and people will know the fruits of the Spirit to have this gift, the only way to is to turn away from Jesus and run back to the world and lose their salvation and have demons decieving you and have demonic tongues which is a very sad concept, but could return to Jesus repent and get Jesus Spirit back again.and speak tongues through Jesus Holy Spirit once again.......

Salvation is not based on learning bible verses then learning the doctrines of christianity then defending what you have learnt and then believing everyone else who does not agree with you is either , not a true believer or being deceived . Sadly enough from what i have read of tony times 3 posts is all this and more and worse still what manymanymany christians believe(though they would deny it)

People can walk the line for any cause (other religions, even atheism) - it's called legalism. Either way, it's not what the Lord has called us to, which is life in His spirit. The point is, the outward acts the OP listed are no indication of a relationship.
