But in John it says the wrath of God is already on those who don't believe, is this wrath just hanging around for a future date ,then all hell lets loose ?
Is this the verse you speak of?
John 3
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Yes i did add the bold in there, you added that in there too because you keep telling me this is a scripture that proves Jesus saves us from eternal torment, and you know what scripture says about adding to it. I still do not understand how you get the wrath and anger of God as meaning Jesus saves you from eternal torment.
True. You obviously do not understand it, but that could change one day.

See? It's as I said in my previous post.
1 Tess 1:10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
The same message is repeated all over the Bible. The wrath/judgment is a future event, and the wicked store up the wrath for themselves throughout their lives, and when the day comes it is unleashed upon them, and only Christ can rescue us from it.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36
Sounds like the wrath of God is here already upon unbelief.

Come on then Finn walk me through it. I know if I asked anyone else on this forum to do so, they would oblige. So please expound upon this scripture that you believe says Jesus saves us from eternal torment.

This verse doesn't say what you are saying above.
Ok Jimmie enlighten me,and while you are at if you can see from the scripture that Finn is quoting that it says Jesus saves us from eternal torment, please enlighten me on how you are .
The wrath of God is the result of the fall, it began to lift of men as they began to call upon The Lord in faith.
Abraham, your father, was glad that he might see my day; and he saw, and did rejoice. No wrath upon this fella.

Yep, it is being stored up for the day of judgment like I have told you a dozen times already.

You mean there's a cloud of wrath hanging over the heads of unbelievers, and at a future date that cloud is going to release hell upon them at Gods command ?.
Its amazing what believing in eternal torment does to the mind.
