Satan is the "adversary". Adversary to God and the purpose of God. Adversary to Messiah and the purpose of Messiah.
You folks delight in depicting Satan as anything other than as I have depicted. Why do you folks continue to define "Satan" as anything other than as determined in the Jewish tradition? Why do you continue to believe that Satan is something other than whom the Jews defined in their theology?

Its funny you say that Satan lied. Read the scripture you posted.
(Gen.3:1-5 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which theLORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Yeshall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said untothe serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. Butof the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Godhath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil). Sounds to me like he told the truth and any deciet was on Gods part.
Eve ate the fruit, Eve gained the knowledge of the Good and evil and Eve did not die. All exactly as Satan stated.
God mislead, Satan spoke the truth.

poor boy, you don't understand analogies.. if i said god sends the meet and the devil cooks it, that means i'm basing it on the "adversary" theory
