We have heard it a million times, im not under the law, im under grace when asked about the Sabbath day.

So why is this same scenario not used when asked about the other 9 commands as well?

2 Dont make any graven images...........Im not under Law, Im under grace.
3 Dont take Gods name in vain.............Im not under Law, Im under grace.
4 Keep The Sabbath Day Holy..............Im not under Law, Im under grace.
5 Honor you mother and father.............Im not under Law, Im under grace.
6 Do not steal...................................Im not under Law, Im under grace.
7 Do not Kill......................................Im not under Law, Im under grace.
8 Dont commit adultery.......................Im not under Law, Im under grace.
9 Dont bear false witness....................Im not under Law, Im under grace.
10 Do not Covet................................Im not under Law, Im under grace.

It is...... by those who understand that there is a "New Commandment" and the others are rendered moot. For instance, why would a follower of Christ want to commit murder? No need for that law. As to the Sabbath, the point as noted in Hebrews is to enter into His rest "today."

Dear Saan,
Because of the beast of Daniel 7:24-25, the Sabbath has been altered for the beast followers. It is now written for the RCC as keep holy the "Lord's Day" for the followers of the beast. Keeping this new "Day of the Sun", as in following the "Blue Laws", and not keeping God's Sabbath, is simply a "mark of the beast", in which one does not buy or sell on the "Day of the Sun".

The gospel of Grace is simply the gospel of Paul, which is antithetical to the gospel of the "kingdom". Huge dollups of hypocrisy and double mindedness, is required to correlate the two different gospels.

DANIEL 7:24-25 'AS FORTHE TEN HORNS, OUT OF THIS KINGDOM TEN KINGS WILL ARISE; AND ANOTHER WILL ARISE AFTER THEM, AND HE WILL BE DIFFERENT FROM THE PREVIOUS ONES AND WILL SUBDUE THREE KINGS (Constantine defeated Daia, Severus, and Licinius) . 'AND HE WILL SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE MOST HIGH AND WEAR DOWN THE SAINTS OF THE HIGHEST ONE, AND HE WILL INTEND TO MAKE ALTERATIONS IN TIMES AND IN LAW;(Constantine negated God's law and proscribed Sunday as the day of rest) ......

Not being under law applies to all 600+ laws of Moses. We did not covenant with God that HE will smite us with all the curses of the law if we don't do ALL the law.

We are under grace, not under law and a curse. Dig?

What a lot of Christians don't seem to understand is that yes they are under grace. The law no longer condemns them because of their sin. However, we are called to be God's people, and that means we are to shun evil, and seek to do good. That is to say, Saving faith is a matter of the heart. We trust in Jesus, we love Jesus, We honor and respect Jesus and treat and regard Him is our God and savior. That means that in that relationship, we seek to do good, which is also to say we do God's will.

Gal 5:13 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.

Ro 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. This new life that Paul speaks of is one that seeks to do good not evil, to live by God's will, not rebel against it.

Ro 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires,

Its helpful to remember that Christians only have faith because the Holy Spirit works that in them. But in his rebellion against God's will, people do turn away from God, lose their faith and their salvation. There are many warnings about this in the Bible. This is why I get very concerned about a Christian who seems to have little or no interest in living within the will of God, and no guilt about their own sins, and no interest in trying to live a God pleasing life. That's a bad sign.
