If you go to church on Sunday, can you go to work after? (hell, testimony)

I've read that in South Africa, they have 7 work days a week, but I think Sunday is a half day. This is in an overwhelmingly Christian country. Are they breaking the 3rd commandment by doing this? Not that I'm encouraging making Sunday a work week in more places, as if most of us aren't overworked as it is... I'm just curious.
The Sabbath Law ended with Jesus death and resurrection. The other 9 were repeated as binding but not the sabbath.
For a Christian every day is the Lord's as we are his slaves. How we use them reflects how good a slave we are, but his load is light, so "breaks" are allowed.
Why can't we just discuss the topic of the thread without being cryptic or pushing our agendas. I still haven't received a clear answer.
Of course you can - (go to work after church services). You have the free will to do anything you choose. Now, as to what the Bible says about working on Sunday? In that culture, they worked six days a week and 'rested' on the seventh, (on Saturday or shabbat, (literally meaning, "to sit" or "to sit down"), we call it the sabbath, running from sundown on Friday afternoon to sundown on Saturday afternoon). In that culture, the day started at sundown. To them, Sunday was a normal work day.

Myself? Due to the nature of my work, (satellite instrument operations), I had to go into work this past Sunday and had to miss church. I was bummed, but I think God understands.
Do you believe that God is intensely interested in which day of the modern week it is that one observes a day of rest (punishment being loss of being part of the first resurrection) but is not that interested in whether we help to feed the starving and heal the sick, millions of whom suffer and die needlessly every year? Why would a god so great humans can't even grasp it care at all about a thing like the day of the week? Makes him seem trite and silly - like he's limited to an ancient time and place when starvation in distant lands wasn't known about and when the wealthiest of the world's people didn't have the ability to make a huge difference in those situations.
Dear ros,
The keeping of the Sabbath is simply a sign between God and his children who follow his commandments. The taking care of the needy is simply the requirement to inherit the "kingdom" (Mt 25:34-46).
Exodus 31:13 "Say to the Israelites, 'You must observe my Sabbaths: This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that ... "Tell the people of Israel: 'Be careful to keep my Sabbath day, for the .... "sign" that the Israelites were under a special covenant with God

The Sabbath Law is part of the 10 Commandments and it, along with the other 9, did not die. You really have no idea what you are posting.
We're not under the old testament law. So yes, you can go to work. I do. I even order out.
We are still under the 10 Commandments. It happens to be the Law of Moses that went to the cross with Jesus. Please learn the Bible before making outlandish and false statements concerning it. Jesus said that if anyone loved Him, they would follow His Father's Commands.
Why is it that so many really have no idea about the Bible which they speak about?
Their minds are closed to the many layers of possibility and meaning found in the Scriptures, I suppose.
