Since God is Love and love is this:

Love is patient, is kind. Love is not jealous. Love is not bragging, is not puffed up, is not indecent, is not
self-seeking, is not incensed, is not taking account of evil, is not rejoicing in injustice, yet is rejoicing
together with the truth, is forgoing all, is believing all, is expecting all, is enduring all." Love is never
lapsing
: yet, whether prophecies, they will be discarded, or languages, they will cease, or knowledge, it
will be discarded." (1Co 13:4-8)

How can eternal torture be compatible with love? Since love never gives up on anyone and always seeks the highest for the person.

Was Adam to be tortured eternally ?______ Were there postmortem penalties for Adam ?______

Non-biblical hell teachings taught as Scripture teach eternal torture, whereas the biblical hell is just the grave.
Jesus taught sleep in death at John 11 vs 11-14, so while in hell then Jesus was in a sleep-like state.
The dead Jesus was unconscious while in hell [ gravedom ] as Ecclesiastes 9 v 5 teaches.- Acts 2 vs 27,31

- Psalms 6 v 5; 13 v 3; 115 v 17; 146 v 4; Daniel 12 vs 2,13

Show God the love which people deny God even exists , and even deny the love to God and when people are asked to love God and become one with Him , the evil in people heart are insulted that people would even ask people to get them saved ......... See people can blame God for His justice , but ignore their own heart of people who deny God

Are we told in Isaiah 6:3 that the angels cry out all day and all night "Love, love, love?" No. Instead, it's "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD God Almighty." There is a difference and the difference is huge.

Love is but one attribute of the many God possesses.

Holy encompasses all of His attributes, including love.

By reducing God to a single attribute we diminish the urgency of the Good News. By reducing God to a single attribute we lower Him from His throne and bring Him down to our level. Here we can negotiate, relate, laugh and have fun with Him as just another bud to hang with.

Pastor A.W. Tozer warned in his Christian classic, The Knowledge of The Holy that, "The vague and tenuous hope that God is too kind to punish the ungodly has become a deadly opiate for the consciences of millions. It hushes their fears and allows them to practice all pleasant forms of iniquity while death draws every day nearer and the command to repent goes unheeded."

When you look in the mirror do you see yourself as John Newton did when he wrote Amazing Grace?
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Here was a man who saw himself as God saw him. I'm afraid today too many do not see themselves as lost wretches in need of a savior to save them from the eternal damnation of the road they're on.

From another book by A. W. Tozer and David E. Fessenden entitled The Attributes of God, Volume 1: A Journey into the Father's Heart written fifty years ago as if for today,
"A lot of people have talked about the goodness of God and then gotten sentimental about it and said, "God is too good to punish anybody," and so they have ruled out Hell. But the man who has an adequate conception of God will not only believe in the love of God, but also in the holiness of God. . . . So let’s not write dreamy poetry about the goodness of our heavenly Father who is love—"love is God and God is love and love is all in all and all is God and everything will be OK." That’s the summation of a lot of teaching these days. But it’s false teaching."

Wrong. Love is NOT an attribute of God. God IS love . . . what we would experience as a mental state characterized by agape for all life . . . as demonstrated by Christ. That is why when we love we are "born of God" and know God.

1 John 4:7-12 King James Version (KJV)

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I t doesn't say God is loving. But God is LOVE, the embodiment of all that love entails. All of the other stuff can't contradict that He is love but flow out and serve the purpose of a God who is LOVE.

By the same token, God IS holy.

1 Peter 1:16 - It is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
