If Jesus came back today he would embrace the Catholic Church because Saint Peter is our first leader and Jesus and Saint Peter had a special relationship.

Secondly the CC is the Church founded by Jesus.

However, Jesus would also embrace all other Christians as well as non-Christians.

That would depend upon the denomination.

Well, I'm not an atheist and I believe the Bible to be the word of God. In my opinion, cpg's response was right on the money.

What is so ironic is that so many who think they are Christians will find out they are not according to Jesus.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Yes...this! I was trying to compose a response to the OP's post. Then I read this. This says it all ...

What is more ironic is that those who currently THINK they know who those people will be may be surprised to find out they could be the ones referred to.

I realize the OP is implying to make Himself appear and visit churches.
ON His actual second coming will be as judge .
So in essence, you will find out how He feels about the churches.
The first few chapters of Revelations He gives a critique of the churches then.
That should be sufficient representation of things to come.
