Are they the same ?

What do you think ?

and what's your thoughts on this: Why evangelicals should think twice about equating modern Israel with Israel of the Bible

From a religious perspective, the author makes some good points.

From a secular perspective, the issues get even more complicated. Hamas, which IS a terrorist organization, also is the largest provider of social services to Palestinians. It provides schools, medical and other needed services. Is there any wonder they have support

Israel is exasperating any peace efforts by annexing land, building settlements and generally harassing normal Palestinians. Neither side is innocent, and neither seems willing to stop.

I truly feel for those that have to live under the situation.

One of the only differences from the Old Covenant and the Jewish faith today is that redemption of sin is absent , like they do not even have it as a doctrine today ..... Israel today is a million times stronger than the old tribal warriors who had their country was taken away most of the time in the Old Covenant of ancient times ............... In the Old Covenant God had more people on His table even with the bail gods with some leaders followed , where as today In the New Covenant God has only with 2% of the people who are Jewish Christians in Israel , but with Jesus Children through out the world who do pray for the Nation , which Jesus has a plan for Israel and He has His hand on the Nation

as Christians we believe Jesus Christ is an incarnation of the Godhead, therefore,
we are His children, not his brothers.
