Matthew 19:8-9(NKJV)
8 He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality,[a] and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”

In response to all the homosexual threads lately one thing that has always been said in them is that Christians get on homosexuals for their lifestyles, yet the bible says people that divorce and remarry for anything other than sexual immorality is committing adultery, so how is it fair to single out homosexuality and ignore this issue of adultery. No adulterer, homosexual, or sexually immoral person will inherit the kingdom of heaven according to scriptures. So some Christians, according to scriptures are technically adulterers if they get a divorce because they dont get along and remarry someone else.

Romans 7:2-3 (NKJV)

2 For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.

Is it considered adultery if a believer doesnt get along and divorces and remarries someone else while their ex-spouse is still alive?

Is that considered the same adultery as one who cheats on their spouse?

Would God really send someone who got a divorce and remarries because they didnt get along with their 1st spouse to hell?

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NKJV)
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

The laws of Marriage between a man and a woman are nothing, the marriage is what you are in right now, a marriage of body and spirit.

Jesus says this about the marriage we are in, of our own body and spirit.

Luke 16.

And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus.

He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.
“Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

The word of God is your wife and your calling, but if you have chosen riches in this life with this body then why would God give you an incorruptible body with great power?

This is about your body that you have on loan, this life, this marriage and what you have chosen.

''And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?''

It is a continuing speech of marriage going into showing Lazarus and the rich man as the same person.

The rich man chose riches instead of the priesthood, and he should have been married to God's word and his mission as a priest instead of choosing riches.

HAVE YOU DIVORCED THE LAW?

Sin is sin, we have a list of sins and we try not to sin.

It is a general question!!! Dont get your undies in a wad

It is relevant question because the bible does say if you remarry and sexual immortality wasn't the reason for your divorce, it is considered adultery.

Is it Adultery and they have to ask for forgiveness, or in the eyes of God are they always going to be considered as living in adultery until their ex spouse dies?

It is an important question, I didn't want to commit adultery when I was married, and I fornicated also when I divorced, the penalty for these things are death, but I don't think it means you can't be saved.

The sins of the flesh are sins of flesh, and they are still important but it still pointed to spiritual adultery when you serve other Gods and commit adultery against God.

Christians who will not forgive the person that they divorced or people who do not seek restitution with the Ex could find themselves outside the gates of heaven or thrown into hell by Jesus Holy Angels ..............Then there is a grave error question if there were children of the broken home which if people ignore their dilemma and hand their lives over to the curse of separation and never took up the authority of the believer and removed the curses of divorce on the children , than it will be a factor which Jesus will have to decide at the judgment seat of Christ for the Christians ......See divorce is not a spiritual authority of God and God could find a way to reunite the people who are divorced or separated

Here's a better one, what business is it of anybody what goes on in someone else's home? Why don't you stay out of their bedroom? They aren't harming anyone by getting divorce so why do you care?

Do pastors perform marriages in their church for couples who have already been married to other people, got divorced and now are getting married for a second time?
